Yehe town

Yehe Town, subordinate to Zhongxian County of Chongqing City, is located in the north of Zhongxian County, adjacent to Shibao town and Guocun town of Wanzhou District in the East, tujing Township and Ruxi town in the south, Ruxi town in the West and Tiancheng town of Wanzhou in the north. It is 24.7 kilometers away from Zhongxian county government, with a total area of 58 square kilometers.

At the end of Qing Dynasty, Yehe town belonged to Ruxi township; in June 1992, it was changed from Yehe township to Yehe town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of wild crane was 26158. As of June 2020, Yehe town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 10 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Yehe town is located at 141 Yehe community.

History of construction

In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Ruxi township.

In 1931, Ganchang township was established. In 1935, it merged with tujing township to establish a joint maintenance system, belonging to the second district. In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936), it was renamed "joint insurance for the market". In 1937, it was changed into Ganchang township. In 1940, it was transferred to four districts. In 1944, it was restored to the second district. In 1946, it was transferred to four districts.

In 1950, it belonged to three districts.

In 1953, Ganchang township was divided into Hengshan Township, Jiaping Township and Ganchang township.

In 1956, Hengshan, Jiaping and Ganchang were merged into Ganchang township.
