Rensha Town, subordinate to Fengdu County of Chongqing City, is located in the north of Fengdu County, bordering Baohe town in the East, Shetan town in the south, Xinglong Town and Dianjiang County in the west, Sanyuan town in the north. It is 58km away from Fengdu county government, with a total area of 91.19km2.
Before 1949, rensha town was a beach farm; in December 2009, rensha town was changed from rensha township to rensha town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Ren Sha town was 30059. As of June 2020, rensha town has one community, 13 administrative villages and six groups of shipantan community under the people's Government of rensha town.

History of construction
Before 1949, it was a beach.
In November 1949, it was established as rensha township.
In October 1958, rensha township was changed into rensha commune.
In July 1982, rensha commune was changed into rensha township.
In December 2009, rensha township was changed from township to town.

In 2011, rensha town has one community in shipantan, 13 administrative villages in Tianjiagou, hangjiaping, Renshou, Lijiaping, Luojiaqiao, yongpingzhai, qixingzhai, Gufo, longjiagou, daguba, xiongjiahe, Hongmiaozi and taojiaping, 10 resident groups and 74 villager groups.
