Wunur town
Wunur Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Yakeshi City, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the central and southern part of Yakeshi City, adjacent to Boketu town in the East, chuoheyuan town in the south, Honghuaerji town in Ewenki Autonomous Banner in the West and Mianduhe town in the north, with an administrative area of 2229.5 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, it was the eighth station from Qiqihar to Hulunbeier; in May 2011, wunur town was restored. By the end of 2018, 8235 households had registered residence in urnon town. As of June 2020, the town has three communities and one administrative village.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of wunur town was 10.05 million yuan, an increase of 43.3% over the previous year. In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise and 16 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in wunur town.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, it was the eighth station from Qiqihar to Hulunbeier.
In 1903, when the Middle East Railway was in operation, the station was named wunur.
Before 1949, it belonged to Solon banner.
In January 1950, it belonged to xiguitu banner and wunur was Gacha.
In March 1958, wunuer office was set up in Chacha.
In August 1969, Suixi guitu banner was transferred to Heilongjiang Province.
In July 1979, Suixi guitu banner returned to Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
In 1983, Yakeshi city was established in xiguitu banner.
On September 27, 1984, the town of wunur was set up in part of the town.
In June 2006, the town was removed to set up an office, belonging to Mianduhe town.
In May 2011, the town of wunur was restored.

By the end of 2011, wunur town had two communities: Wudong and Wuxi, and 94 resident groups.
As of June 2020, wunur town has three communities and one administrative village: Wudong community, Wuxi community, Xing'anling community and yilekede village.

Wunur town is located in the middle and low mountains of Daxing'an Mountains. The terrain gradually decreases from the ridge of Daxing'an Mountains in the southeast to the northwest. The terrain is relatively gentle, with low mountains as the main part and wide valley. The average altitude is 900 meters.

The river course in wunur town belongs to Erguna River Basin. The main channel is the wuniri River, which originates from the north slope of Daxing'an Mountains and yuzhenshan. The total length of the river is 55km and flows northward into the miandu river. The flow rate is 0.5-1.2m3/s in the normal period, the river width is 10-20m, and the water depth is 1-2.5m.

History and culture
The site of wunur's Japanese fortress against China was built in 1944. The whole fortress covers an area of 1100 square kilometers, reaching Xinganling in the East, yaofangzi in the south, Gaoji mountain in the West and wudaoliangzi in the north. The fortress is mainly set on the highlands on both sides of Binzhou railway, pass and highway. It was a defensive fortification used by the Japanese Kwantung Army to resist the Chinese army and the Soviet Red Army's eastward movement through the greater Khingan mountains. It is called "Maginot Line" by Japan.
