Jiming town
Jiming Township, subordinate to Chengkou County of Chongqing, is located in the south of Chengkou County, connecting Xianyi town of Chengkou County in the East, manyue township of Kaizhou District in the south, Xuanhan County of Sichuan Province in the west, Mingtong town and Liaozi township of Chengkou County in the north, with a total area of 87 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, Jiming township was under the category of "eight guarantees, Three Guarantees"; in October 1984, Jiming commune was changed into Jiming township. By the end of 2018, the population of Jiming Township registered residence was 5498. As of June 2020, Jiming village has jurisdiction over one community and five administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Yingbin Road.

History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the top three of the eight guarantees.
In the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), it belonged to the joint protection of chicken and salt in the first district. In 1937, the joint insurance of Jixian was divided into two parts, belonging to Jiming joint insurance. In 1940, it belonged to Jixian township of three districts.
In August 1952, it belongs to Xianyi township of four districts.
In March 1953, Xianyi township was divided into Jiming Township and Xihe township.
In November 1956, Jiming Township and Xihe Township became Jiming township.
In September 1958, Jiming township was changed into Jiming commune.
In October 1984, Jiming commune was changed into Jiming township.
