Qiaoji Township, Yucheng County, Shangqiu City, Henan Province, is located 35 kilometers to the north east of the county, on the South Bank of the old Yellow River. It faces Dangshan in Anhui Province across Zhangji town in the East, Liuji Township in the west, and Shan County in Shandong Province in the north. It covers an area of 45 square kilometers (2017), with 39000 mu of arable land, 17 administrative villages, 63 natural villages and a population of 34810 (2017). In July 1976, Qiaoji people's commune was set up by Zhang Ji people's Commune and Liu Ji people's commune, with 17 brigades under their jurisdiction.
