Jindai Street
Jindai street, subordinate to Liangping District of Chongqing, is located in the middle of Liangping District, adjacent to Panlong town in the East, Helin town in the south, Renxian town in the west, Shuanggui street in the north, 12 kilometers away from the residence of Liangping District People's government, with an administrative area of 31.45 square kilometers.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the area around Jindai street was shizhuchang; in 2020, Jindai town was replaced by Jindai street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Jindai street was 17997. As of June 2020, Jindai street has jurisdiction over one community and seven administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at No. 3, Yingui road.

History of construction
In 1912, it was named shizhuchang; in 1940, it was Jindai township; in 1947, it was the first district.
In December 1949, it belongs to Zhongcheng district.
In October 1953, it was divided into four townships: Jindai, Shuanggui, Renhe and Chi'an.
In December 1955, Jindai Township, Shuanggui Township, Renhe Township and Chi'an Township were merged into Jindai township.
In August 1958, Jindai township was transformed into Jindai commune.
In September 1966, Jindai commune changed its name to Jinguang commune.
In January 1976, Jinguang commune was renamed Jindai commune.
In April 1984, Jindai commune restored Jindai township.
In September 1992, Jindai Township and Guangming Township were merged and rebuilt into Jindai town.
In 2020, Jindai town will be replaced by Jindai street.
