Wugui town
Wugui Town, subordinate to Tongnan District of Chongqing, is located in the southwest of Tongnan District, adjacent to Shuangshan town of Tongliang District in the East, Dazu District in the south, Tianbao township of Dazu District in the West and Wofo town in the north, with a total area of 32.8 square kilometers.
In the Qiandao period of the Southern Song Dynasty (1165-1173), dengjiachang was built, belonging to Tongliang District of Hezhou. In December 1993, it was changed from Wugui township to Wugui town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of five Gui Town was 14143. As of June 2020, Wugui town has two communities and three administrative villages, and the people's Government of Wugui town is located at 20 Xinglong Street.
In 2018, there were 32 industrial enterprises and 13 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Wugui town.
History of construction
In the Qiandao period of the Southern Song Dynasty (1165-1173), dengjiachang was built, belonging to Tongliang District of Hezhou.
In 1849, dengjiachang was renamed wuguichang.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), wuguichang belonged to zhonganli. In 1931, Wugui township was established.
In September 1958, Wugui township was changed into Wugui commune.
In December 1983, Wugui commune was withdrawn and Wugui township was changed.
In December 1993, it was changed from Wugui township to Wugui town.

At the end of 2011, Wugui town had five villagers' committees, including Changling, Daoshi, Dongnan, Gaobei and fangpo, and 30 villagers' groups.
As of June 2020, Wugui town has two communities and three administrative villages: Changling community, Daoshi community, Dongnan village, Gaobei village and fangpo village, and the people's Government of Wugui town is located at No. 20 Xinglong Street.
