Mixin town
Mixin Town, subordinate to Tongnan District of Chongqing, is located in the north of Tongnan district. It borders Pengnan town of Pengxi County in Suining in the East, Guxi town in the south, Laochi town of Chuanshan District in Suining in the west, and Sanfeng town of Pengxi County in Suining in the north. It is 44km away from the people's Government of Tongnan District, with a total area of 54.55km2.
In Qin Dynasty, mixin town belonged to Shu County; in September 1993, it was changed from mixin town to mixin town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of MI Xin town was 28306. As of June 2020, mixin town has 2 communities and 11 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located at No. 26 Fumin Street.
In 2018, there were 42 industrial enterprises in mixin Town, including 4 above scale enterprises and 7 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In Qin Dynasty, it belonged to Shu county.
In the Eastern Jin Dynasty, it belonged to Jinxing county.
In the Northern Song Dynasty, it belonged to Qingshi county.
In Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to Pengxi county.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Tongnan dongbeili.
In March 1950, it belonged to the Fourth District of the county.
In January 1956, it belongs to Guxi district.
In September 1958, mixin commune was established.
In June 1984, it was changed from MI Xin commune to MI Xin township.
In September 1993, it was changed from mixin township to mixin town.
In June 2006, Xinhua Town was merged into mixin town.

By the end of 2011, mixin town had one community under its jurisdiction, including 12 administrative villages including Xiajia, kuzhu, Longwang, Jijia, Gaokan, zhutai, Chanhe, Xiangshui, Yuejia, Tongjia, Pilu and Baiguo; 32 resident groups and 91 villager groups.
As of June 2020, mixin town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 11 administrative villages: mixin town community, Xiajia community, Baiguo village, zhutai village, Tongjia village, Pilu village, Xiangshui village, Yuejia village, Chanhe village, kuzhu village, Jijia village, Longwang village and Gaokan village. Mixin town is located in the shallow hilly area of the central Sichuan Basin, with high terrain in the southeast and low terrain in the northwest. The main mountains are Xiangshui mountain and rhinoceros mountain. Xiangshuipo, the highest peak, is located in Xiangshui village, with an altitude of 349 meters. Xiaoxiegou, the lowest point, is located in Jijia village, with an altitude of 240 meters.
