Dalu street, belonging to Bishan District of Chongqing, is located in the north of Bishan District, adjacent to Fenghuang town of Shapingba District in the East, Qingmuguan town of Shapingba District in the southeast, Bicheng street in the south, riverside town in the southwest, Hufeng town of Tongliang District in the west, Qinglong township of Tongliang District in the northwest, Qitang town in the north and Qitang town in the northeast, with a total area of 115 square kilometers.
In the early Qing Dynasty, Dalu cliff was set up along Dalu street; on December 9, 2010, Dalu town was changed into Dalu street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Dalu street was 62500. As of June 2020, Dalu street has jurisdiction over 4 communities and 13 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at No. 13 Qianqian street, Hongshi community.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Dalu street was 110 million yuan, an increase of 49.4% over 2010; the total agricultural output value was 200 million yuan; the total industrial output value was 3.45 billion yuan.
History of construction
In the early Qing Dynasty, Dalu cliff was set up along Dalu street.
In 1930, Dalu town was established. In the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), it was the joint insurance for the main road. In 1940, it was called Dalu township.
In December 1952, Dalu township was established as Xinmin Township.
In May 1956, Xinmin Township was merged into Dalu township.
In September 1958, Dalu township was changed into Dalu commune.
In April 1962, Dalu commune established Xinmin commune.
In February 1978, Xinmin and Longxi communes were merged into Dalu commune.
In March 1980, Xinmin commune and Longxi commune were designated as Dalu commune.
In January 1984, it was changed from Dalu commune to Dalu township.
In January 1994, Dalu township was merged with Xinfang, Shuangqiao, Huoshi, Dazhu and zizang villages in tuanba Township and longmenxi township to form Dalu town.
In January 2004, Baojia Town, Liutang town and Qinglonghu management committee were merged into Dalu town.
On December 9, 2010, it was changed from Dalu town to Dalu street.

In April 1998, Tiantang village, Dagou village, Huoshi village and Shuangqiao Village were under the jurisdiction of Qinglong Lake scenic area.
By the end of 2011, Dalu street had jurisdiction over 3 communities, namely Hongshi, Jielong and Liuhe, 14 administrative villages, including Sandan, Yanghe, Gaogong, tuanba, Sanjiang, Dagou, Xinfang, Dazhu, Siwei, Guojia, Fuli, Longquan, Santai and Datang, and 10 resident groups and 104 villager groups.

The main natural disasters in Dalu Street are hail, snow, drought, wind, frost, lightning, etc. The severe snow disaster occurred on January 27, 1914, with snow depth of about 15 cm. The serious lightning strike occurred on July 5, 1996. Members of No. 5 community in zizang village were struck by lightning, two people died and three injured.
