Wanshun Town, subordinate to Changshou District of Chongqing, is located in the west of Changshou District. It is adjacent to Honghu town in the East and south, Yulin town in Linshui County of Sichuan Province in the west, Jiulong Town and Lijiang town in Linshui County of Sichuan Province in the north. It is 42 kilometers away from Changshou District People's government, with a total area of 54.19 square kilometers.
In the 14th year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1381), it belonged to yangguanli; in August 2003, Wanshun township was changed into Wanshun town. By the end of 2018, the population of Wanshun town registered residence was 29288. As of June 2020, Wanshun town has 8 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of the town is located in No. 1 Wanshun village.

History of construction
Ming Hongwu 14 years (1381), belong to yangguanli.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Wanshun regiment. In 1930, Wanshun town was established as the third district of Changshou county. In 1933, Wanshun town was changed into Wanshun township.
In February 1951, Wanshun township was changed into Wanshun district.
In September 1958, Wanshun district was rebuilt into Wanshun commune.
In June 1984, Wanshun commune was changed into Wanshun township.
In August 2003, Wanshun township was changed to Wanshun town.
