LUOQI Town, belonging to Yubei District of Chongqing, is located in the east of Yubei district and the West Bank of the Yangtze River. It faces Banan District across the river in the East, Jiangbei District in the south, Longxing town and Shichuan town in the west, Dasheng town and Yanjia Industrial Park in Changshou District in the North. It is 60km away from the people's Government of Yubei District, with a total area of 95.34km2.
In 347, LUOQI town belonged to Zhixian County; on February 13, 1987, LUOQI town was changed from LUOQI township to LUOQI town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of LUOQI town was 49399. As of June 2020, LUOQI town has 5 communities and 16 administrative villages, and the people's Government of LUOQI town is located in Xinyu Road.
In 2018, there were 28 industrial enterprises in LUOQI Town, including one above scale and 15 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction

In 1754, LUOQI town was established.
On December 31, 1961, LUOQI town was changed into LUOQI commune.

On February 13, 1987, LUOQI township was changed into LUOQI town.
