Banmian town

Banmian town is located in the southwest of Youxi, northwest of Daiyun mountain. It borders Taixi Township in the East, Xinyang town in the west, Meishan Township in Datian and Tangtou Township in Dehua in the south, Xicheng town and Chengguan town in the north. It is the junction of the two cities (Sanming and Quanzhou) and three counties (Youxi, Datian and Dehua).

It has jurisdiction over 20 administrative villages and 77 natural villages, and is the largest town in Youxi County. The town government is located at an altitude of 170m. Penglai mountain (1288.7m above sea level) and Luohan mountain (1287.5m above sea level) face each other in the town. Yuxi River runs through the two mountains from south to north.

In 2017, the administrative area of Banmian town was 41152 hectares, with a permanent population of 27247.

Banmian village is located in Youxi County, where Banmian Township, an important traffic area in Dehua and Quanzhou, is located. It is 21 kilometers away from the county. There are 6 districts and 48 village groups in the village. There are few cultivated land per capita, many mountains and forests, and abundant labor resources.

In 2012, the agricultural output value of the whole village was 47.15 million yuan, the industrial output value was 13.41 million yuan, the enterprise output value was 35.41 million yuan, the per capita net income of farmers was 5360 yuan, and the village financial income was 1.73 million yuan. Seven residential districts and 580 units have been planned and developed. At present, more than 60% of the farmers in the village live in new steel concrete houses, 95% of the farmers use tap water, 90% of the farmers install cable TV, 20% of the farmers use broadband Internet, and 85% of the farmers have program-controlled telephone. Xiachuan (formerly known as Xiachuan) village is located in the delta of the lower reaches of Qingxi River and the upper reaches of Youxi river. The whole village has vast land. The village is rich in water and beautiful scenery. 733 county road runs through the whole village, 23 kilometers away from the county seat. In the northeast, it is adjacent to datouqiao and futingkeng villages of Taixi Township, and in the southwest, it is adjacent to jiangkeng and Banmian villages of this township, 5 kilometers away from the township.

Five natural villages. The industrial and agricultural output value is 44.21 million yuan, and the enterprise output value is 11.62 million yuan. The cement hardening of the whole village highway is 6.6 km, and that of the natural village highway is 4.8 km. The audio-visual education facilities for multi-functional classrooms in primary schools are added. 97% of households have cable TV, 86% of households have telephone, and there are broadband Internet.

Wuyuan Village: it governs qianyukeng, dapingling, houyukeng, zhulinkeng, zaoping and Wuyuan natural villages;

Wuyuan village is located in the southwest of Youxi County, at the foot of Penglai mountain, 30 kilometers away from the county seat, and 0.3 kilometers adjacent to Banmian and Daqian villages. Wuyuan village collective era is an advanced unit of agriculture learning from Dazhai village, which was awarded the honor of spiritual civilization by Sanming City.

At present, there are 638 people, 140 households, 27 party members, 2 natural villages, 4 villager groups, with three surnames of Lin, Wang and Luo. There are 82 elderly people in the village, 15 people over 80 years old, 400 labor force, 204 men, 196 women, 252 non-agricultural transfer employment. The village has a pengfa bamboo products factory with an investment of more than 1.5 million yuan in 2004, next to the village headquarters, and a Yikang shoes company with an investment of more than 2 million yuan was officially put into operation in July 2007, which solved the problem of surplus labor force in the village.

Daqian village is located in the south of Youxi County, 27 kilometers away from the county seat and 3.5 kilometers away from the township, with convenient transportation. Daqian village is located at the foot of Penglai mountain, close to the market town. Provincial Road 206 runs through three natural villages. The village has a total population of 972 people, including 242 households, including 515 males and 457 females. It is distributed in three natural villages of Daqian, Shuiguo and wenqihou, where Luo, Lei and other surnames live. Shuiguo is the settlement of ethnic minorities (she). There are 8 villager groups, 34 party members and 25 villager representatives. The total area of the village is 15875 mu, and the total forestry area is 12000 mu, including 1333 mu of state-owned forest, 1266 mu of Township Forest, 864 mu of self owned forest, 1268 mu of collective Phyllostachys pubescens forest, and 937 mu of cultivated land. The historic village is located in the southeast of Youxi County, at the foot of Luohan mountain. It is an administrative village dominated by characteristic industries. It has 5 natural villages and 20 villager groups under its jurisdiction. There are 551 households with 2279 people.

The land area is 28819 mu, including 2080 mu of cultivated land and 19622 mu of forest land (including 5442 mu of forest land, 1573 mu of Phyllostachys pubescens forest, 10489 mu of ecological public welfare forest, 5242 mu of national finance, 5247 mu of provincial finance, 2118 mu of Camellia oleifera, 3117 mu of tea fruit, 163 mu of tea, 2773 mu of citrus, 175 mu of other fruit trees).

At present, there are four party groups with 39 members and four reserve members. Among them, there are 4 female party members, 12 with high school education or above, 20 with 45 years old, 3 with 70 years old or above, 2 with difficulties and 1 with special difficulties.
