Xipeng town
Xipeng Town, subordinate to Jiulongpo District of Chongqing, is located in the southwest of Jiulongpo District, bordering Tongguanyi town in the East, facing the Yangtze River in the South and Jiangjin New District across the river, connecting Jinfu town of Jiangjin District in the West and taojia town and bafu town in the north. It is 35 km away from the people's Government of Jiulongpo District, with a total area of 88.2 square kilometers.
In 1707, Xipeng town belonged to Bajia, Zhili County; in December 1984, Xipeng town was changed from Xipeng township to Xipeng town. By the end of 2018, the population of Xi Peng town registered residence was 103290. As of June 2020, Xipeng town has 5 communities, 23 administrative villages and 24 buildings in Nancheng district.

History of construction
In the 46th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1707), it belonged to Bajia, Zhili county.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was called pengjiachang. In 1929, it was changed to Peng Jiali. In June 1930, pengjiali was changed to Xipeng township. In 1935, it was changed to Xipeng Lianbao. In 1940, Xipeng Lianbao was renamed Xipeng township.
In October 1952, some villages in Xipeng, Tongguan, taojia and Yuanming townships were planned to build Baohua township; in December of the same year, some villages in Xipeng Township were planned to build Huangzhen township.
In April 1954, Huangzhen township was merged into Xipeng township.
In January 1956, Baohua township was cut off, and each Hui was under its jurisdiction.
In September 1958, Xipeng township was transformed into Xipeng commune.
In February 1959, Xipeng commune was renamed Xipeng management area.
In December 1960, Xipeng management area was changed into Xipeng commune.
In August 1961, some of Xipeng, Tongcan, Yuanming and taojia communes were planned to build Baohua commune.
In 1982, Xipeng township was restored.
In December 1984, Xipeng township was changed into Xipeng town.
In December 1993, Yuanming Township and Shishi township (formerly Baohua township) were merged into Xipeng town.
In March 1995, it was transferred from Banan District to Jiulongpo District.
