Taojia town
Taojia Town, subordinate to Jiulongpo District of Chongqing, is located in the southwest of Jiulongpo District, adjacent to Tiaodeng town of Dadukou District in the East, Tongguanyi town and Xipeng town in the south, bafu town and Shuangfu town of Jiangjin District in the west, and Shiban town in the north. It is 30km away from the people's Government of Jiulongpo District, with a total area of 42.5km.
In 1707, taojia town belonged to the top ten of Zhili in Baxian County; in December 1993, it was changed from taojia town to taojia town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Tao Jia town was 22000. As of June 2020, taojia town has one community and eight administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of the town is located at No. 89, taoqia Road, taojia development zone.
In 2018, there were 82 industrial enterprises in taojia Town, including 22 Enterprises above Designated Size and 14 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1707, Baxian county was rebuilt to 12 Li, belonging to the top ten of Zhili in Baxian County; in the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Jisi town.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), taojiachang was set up as a township level administrative region. In 1929, it was changed to the Tao family. In June of 1930, Jiantao came to his hometown. In 1935, it was changed to the joint protection of Taoists. In 1940, it was changed to Tao's hometown.
In September 1958, Tao's hometown was changed into Tao's commune.
In February 1959, it was renamed taojia management area.
In December 1960, it was renamed taojia commune.
In August 1961, part of the territory was assigned to Baohua commune.
In May 1982, Tao's commune was changed into Tao's hometown.
In December 1993, it was changed from taojia town to taojia town.
In March 1995, it was transferred from Banan District to Jiulongpo District.

In 1997, taojia town governed luogudong, Baiguo, Wenfeng, public security, Qiangqiang, Youai, Jiulong, eight administrative villages and one community in Zhengjie.
At the end of 2011, taojia town had one community under its jurisdiction, including eight administrative villages, namely, Wenfeng, Gongan, Qiangqiang, Baiguo, Jiulong, Lishi, luogudong and Youai; it had five resident groups and 133 villager groups.
