Bafu town
Bafu Town, subordinate to Jiulongpo District of Chongqing, is located in the west of Jiulongpo District, adjacent to Shiban town in the East, taojia town in the south, Shuangfu street in Jiangjin District in the west, Zouma town and Baishiyi town in the north, with a total area of 18.15 square kilometers.
During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1736-1796), the area around bafu town was named fushouchang; in December 1993, it was changed from Bafu township to bafu town. History of construction
Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty (1736-1796), Jianchang, known as fushouchang, belongs to Ba County, Chongqing, Sichuan Province.
In 1929, fushouli was set up in Ba County. In June 1930, Fushou township was built. In the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), it was changed into joint insurance of happiness and longevity. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it merged with Shiba Lianbao to build Fushi township. In 1941, Fushi township was divided into Fushou Township and Shiba township.
In September 1958, Fushou commune was established.
In February 1959, it was renamed Fushou management area.
In December 1960, it was renamed Fushou commune
In October 1982, Fushou commune was changed into Fushou township.
In August 1984, Fushou township was renamed Bafu township.
In December 1993, it was changed from Bafu township to bafu town.
In March 1995, Jiulongpo District was divided from Banan.
