Huilongba Town, belonging to Shapingba District of Chongqing, is located in the northwest of Shapingba District, adjacent to Zhongliang town in the East, Tuzhu town in the south, Fenghuang town in the West and Xiema town in Beibei District in the north, with a total area of 39.1 square kilometers.
In June 1930, Huilongba town was located in Xinglong Township; in December 1993, Huilongba town was merged with Sanqiao Township and Baonong township to build Huilongba town. History of construction
In June 1930, Longxiang was built. In 1935, it was the joint insurance of Xinglong. In 1940, it was restored to Xinglong Township. In February 1951, it was transferred to Beibei, and then to jianzhongliang township.
In April 1953, Xinglong Township returned to Baxian County, and in June of the same year, Sanqiao and Baonong Township were built in some districts.
In April 1954 and January 1956, Baonong Township and Sanqiao Township were merged successively.
In September 1958, Xinglong commune was rebuilt and Zhongliang township was incorporated.
In February 1959, it was Xinglong administrative area; in May of the same year, it was analyzed that some districts were set up Zhongliang administrative area.
In December 1960, it was restored to Xinglong commune.
In 1961, Sanqiao and Baonong communes were set up in some districts.
In 1981, Xinglong commune was renamed Huilongba commune.
In 1982, Huilongba commune was changed into Huilongba township.
In December 1993, Huilongba township was merged with Sanqiao and Baonong townships to build Huilongba town.
In early 1995, Huilongba town was transferred from Ba County to Shapingba District.
