History of construction
In the 16th year of King Cheng of Zhou Dynasty (1027 BC), it belonged to Jiangzhou.
In the late Warring States period, it belonged to Jiangzhou county.
In 487, it belonged to Dianjiang County.
In 561, the first year of Baoding in the Northern Dynasty and the Northern Zhou Dynasty, Dianjiang County was abolished and Baxian county was established.
In 1929, Chongqing was established as a city. In 1935, it was the Fourth District of Chongqing. In 1939, it was the seventh district of Chongqing.
In June 1950, it belongs to the first district of Chongqing.
In October 1954, LiangLuKou street was set up.
On November 23, 1955, the first district was renamed Shizhong District.
In March 1958, Zhonger road was merged into Lianglu street; on September 20 of the same year, Caiyuanba street was merged into Lianglu street.
