Huicheng Township, belonging to Yizhou District, Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southern suburb of Hami City. It is adjacent to taojiagong Township and Hongxing No.1 farm in the East, Huayuan Township in the south, erbu town and Agricultural Development Zone in the west, and urban area and rocket farm in the North. The area is 147.37 square kilometers. In 2018, 9178 people registered residence.
In 1717, the Hui king of Hami built the Hui City at that time. From the Qing Dynasty to the 19th year of the Republic of China (1930), Huicheng was the seat of Hami palace. In 1930, the monarchy was abolished. In 1942, Huicheng was officially established as an administrative region. In 1944, the Kuomintang carried out the Baojia system and set up the township office after returning to the city. In 1954, Huicheng District was established. In 1958, it was changed into rocket commune. In 1962, rocket commune was divided into three communes, including Huicheng commune, Huayuan commune and Nanhu commune. In 1977, dayingmen production team (including five production teams) was put under the jurisdiction of Hami suburban commune. In 1984, Huicheng commune was changed into Huicheng township. As of October 2019, Huicheng rural area has jurisdiction over 3 communities and 5 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 22 industrial enterprises in Huicheng Township and 14 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

At the end of 2011, Huicheng Township had five villagers' committees, namely Jianguo, shazaojing, jiulongshu, maigaixi and aletun, and two management committees, namely xigebi and breeding community, with 22 villagers' groups.
As of October 2019, Huicheng rural area has jurisdiction over three communities, namely Fumin community, ranch community and xigebi community, and five administrative villages, namely Jianguo village, shazaojing village, jiulongshu village, maigaixi village and aleton village.

Huicheng township is located in Hami basin, the terrain is high in the north and low in the south. It is distributed in a narrow and long shape, and the rural area is flat and open. The altitude is about 700-1500 meters, with an average altitude of 812 meters.

Huicheng township has a temperate continental climate. It is characterized by drought and less rain, large temperature difference between day and night, long sunshine time, cold in winter and hot in summer. The average annual precipitation is 28 mm and the average annual evaporation is 3152 mm.

The main economic crops are cotton, vegetables and so on. The planting area of cotton is 2974.7 mu, and the yield is 1189.9 tons; the planting area of vegetables is 179 mu; the planting area of other crops is 928.6 mu. Animal husbandry is dominated by breeding, with 77624 livestock sold, an increase of 39666 over the previous year; 6584 livestock on hand at the end of the year, an increase of 643 over the previous year, producing 1542.3 tons of meat and 472 tons of fresh milk.

In 2011, road transportation was the main mode of transportation in Huicheng township. The southern suburb passenger station is located in the west of the township government. There are 15 passenger lines, 125 passenger vehicles, 116 vehicles per day, and more than 3100 passengers per day. Luozhong highway, Hanan highway and city ring road run through the whole township. There are 6 bus stops, including No. 9, No. 14 and No. 15 buses passing by.
