History of construction

In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to fulzhou and was located in guolidi.

In the Qing Dynasty, it was the first place in the long beach of Fuzhou; in the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Chengxiang District of Fuzhou.

In 1931, two towns of Chongli and Jingyi were established. In 1938, the two towns merged to establish Chongyi town.
