Jinyu street, subordinate to Longhua District, Haikou City, Hainan Province, is located in the north of Longhua District, adjacent to Guoxing street in the East, Chengxi town in the south, Haiken street in the West and Datong Street in the north. In July 2001, Jinyu street of Xinhua District was established from Chengxi township of Xinhua District. On October 16, 2002, Xinhua District was abolished and Longhua District was established. Jinyu street was under the jurisdiction of Longhua District. At the end of 2011, the total population of Jinyu sub district was 104151, including 79119 urban permanent residents and 25032 floating population. As of June 2020, Jinyu street has jurisdiction over 10 communities, and the sub district office is located at 63 Nansha Road, Jinpo community.
