Leiping town

Leiping Town, subordinate to Daxin County, Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Daxin County, Chongzuo city. It is adjacent to Xinhe Town, Jiangzhou District in the East, zhubu Township and Xiangshui Town, Longzhou County in the south, Baowei Township and kanwei Township in the west, Heling Township and ShuoLong town in the northwest, Encheng town in the north and Lanwei Township in the northeast. The administrative area of Leiping town is 375.78 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Lei Ping town registered residence was 53747.

In the 29th year of Zhiyuan (1292), Anping was changed to Taiping Road. In the second year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1369), Anping tuzhou was transferred to Taiping Prefecture. In March 1942, Yangli County, Wancheng county and Leiping county were changed into the seventh district administrative inspector, and Longming county was changed into the Sixth District administrative inspector. In 1952, Leiping, Wancheng and Yangli counties were abolished and Daxin County (zhitaocheng) was merged. In 1958, it was called Xianfeng commune. In 1962, it was called Taiping community. In 1968, it was called Taiping commune. In 1984, it was renamed Leiping town. As of June 2020, Leiping town has jurisdiction over one community and 22 administrative villages. The town people's government is stationed in Taiping community.

In 2018, there were 34 industrial enterprises in Leiping Town, including 2 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 73 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Leiping town is located in the east of Daxin County, Chongzuo City, adjacent to Xinhe Town of Jiangzhou District in the East, zhubu Township and Xiangshui town of Longzhou County in the south, Baowei and kanwei Township in the west, Naling Township and ShuoLong town in the northwest, Ensheng town in the north and Lanwei Township in the northeast. The administrative area of Leiping town is 185.65 square kilometers.

Leiping town in most of the Rocky Mountains and mud range, the terrain is high in the north and low in the south. Located 30 kilometers southwest of the county, the terrain is high in the West and low in the East, high in the north and low in the south. The terrain is divided into hills and mountains. The main mountain range is xidaming mountain. The highest mountain in the territory, long'e, is located in Naan village, with an altitude of 779 meters. The lowest point, Nong, is located in Chezhan village, with an altitude of 233 meters.
