Zhenglong township is located in the east of Xingbin District, 109 ° 16 ′ 4 ″ - 109 ° 25 ′ 52 ″ e, 23 ° 41 ′ 32 ″ - 23 ° 50 ′ 1 ″ n. The total land area of the township is 87.1 square kilometers. In the East and south, it is bounded by Gaoan and Mengcun townships, Hongshui River, Chengxiang Township in the West and Dawan Township in the north. There are two teams of Honghe Industrial Co., Ltd. (Honghe farm) and Tiger Forest Farm in Xingbin district. In 2006, the population of the township was 25700, including 23700 agricultural population. History of construction
At the end of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1850), Zhenglong was the Changqing regiment of nanwuli. In 1925, Zhenglong Township Office was established, which is located in Zhenglong street. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, in January 1950, the people's Government of JiangWan District was established in Laibin County, and Zhenglong township was under the jurisdiction of JiangWan District People's government. In April 1951, JiangWan District People's government was renamed Laibin County Second District People's government, and Zhenglong was under the jurisdiction of the Second District People's government. In December 1955, the people's Government of the two districts was renamed Dawan District Office, and Zhenglong township was under the jurisdiction of Dawan district office. In January 1958, the district was removed and the township was changed. Zhenglong township was separated from Dawan District Office and called Longbei township. In May of the same year, Longbei township was changed to Da'an Township, and its residence was moved from Zhenglong to Da'an, with jurisdiction over four small townships. In August of the same year, Xiaoxiang was renamed brigade. In February 1959, Da'an township was renamed Da'an people's commune. In September 1962, the people's commune was abolished and the district system was restored. Two communes, Da'an and Dawan, were merged into Dawan district. In January 1969, the administrative district was adjusted, and the district was changed into a commune, which was renamed as a production brigade. The four production brigades of Zhenglong, Da'an, Chaoyang and Li village in Zhenglong Township were managed by Dawan commune. In 1974, a new village team was set up from the village team. In July 1979, eight large communes in the county were added with management zones, and Dawan commune was added with Zhenglong management zone, which is the agency of the commune. In 1980, the Da'an brigade was renamed the Dalong brigade, from which the Dongyang brigade was set up. In 1982, the Da'an brigade was renamed as Da'an brigade because it had the same name as the da'long brigade of Pingyang commune. In September 1984, the commune was renamed Township and town. Zhenglong was separated from Dawan and established Zhenglong Township, which remains unchanged until now. The township government is located in Zhenglong street and has jurisdiction over six villagers' committees, namely Zhenglong, Da'an, Dongyang, Xincun, Lichun and Tunkou, and 45 natural villages.
natural environment
The middle, South and east of Zhenglong township are low hills and flat land, and the northwest is semi mountainous area. The Hongshui River flows through the southeast border. It belongs to denudation accumulation hilly plain valley terrain. Longnu peak, the highest peak in the territory, is 263 meters above sea level. The main rivers are Hongshui River. From west to East, Xincun turns north and flows to Dawan township. Hongshui River flows more than 20 kilometers in the territory, with an average flow of 2112.16 cubic meters per second. The average temperature in January is 10.9 ℃, the average temperature in July is 28.6 ℃, and the annual average temperature is 20.8 ℃. The annual average rainfall is 1440 mm, the frost free period is about 330 days, and the annual sunshine is 1664.8 hours. The soils are mainly of fertility * paddy soil and red soil. The main mineral resources are limestone, manganese, iron, coal and phosphorus. Limestone has the characteristics of large reserves and good quality, which is the main mineral resources of the township. After several times of mining, the manganese ore is nearly exhausted. Coal and iron have not yet been mined.
Agriculture
Longxiang is the main production of rice, sugar cane, corn, peanuts, soybeans. In 1995, the township had 76666 mu of cultivated land, including 25752 mu of paddy field and 50914 mu of dry land. The total agricultural output value was 40.1 million yuan, the total grain output was 7.53 million kg, the per capita grain yield was 291 kg, the planting area of sugarcane was 6200 mu, and the imported sugarcane was 19000 tons, 25 times of that in 1987. In 2005 and 2006, the total agricultural output value of the township was 128 million yuan and 139 million yuan respectively, and the total grain output was 9538 tons and 9742 tons respectively. In 2005, the total area of sugarcane in the township was 45000 mu, and the total yield of sugarcane reached 200000 tons in 2005 / 2006. In 2006, 45600 mu of sugarcane was planted in the township, and 213000 tons of sugarcane were imported in 2006 / 2007. Forestry is mainly timber forest and economic forest. In 1994, the goal of afforestation was achieved. In addition to Weidu branch and LAOHUDONG forest farm in Xingbin District, there are three collective forest farms run by township government, Zhenglong village committee and Lichun village committee. The total forest area of the township is 25000 mu, and the forest coverage rate is 16.7%. Since 2001, the township has made great efforts to develop the low forest transformation project, and planted 5300 mu of fast and high-yield forest in that year. In 2006, the forest area of the township reached 29000 mu, the forest coverage rate reached 22.16%, and the forest livestock volume was 82000 cubic meters. In 2005, 750 mu of new forest fruits were planted, and the fruit yield reached 7860 tons. In 2006, 431 mu of high-quality fruits were planted, 728 mu of low-quality orchards were transformed, and 2400 mu of new high-standard orchards (including Ergou orchard) were built. The total fruit yield of the whole year reached 7960 tons. Among them, 1816 mu of Fast-growing Eucalyptus were planted. In 2005 and 2006, there were 53300 and 55000 live pigs, 4600 and 4700 cattle, 1900 and 2000 sheep, 151000 and 161800 poultry, respectively. In 2005 and 2006, the output of aquatic products was 435 tons and 450 tons, respectively.
Industrial and mining enterprises
Manganese ore is mainly mined. In the mid-1970s, Binxian County used to mine manganese ore in the township. Because of the low degree of manganese ore, high cost and poor benefit, the mining scale was not large. In recent years, the local villagers have mined too much, so the mengkuang mine is nearly exhausted. In 1995, there were 3 enterprises with 29 employees and a total output value of 630000 yuan. In 2006, there were 5 enterprises with 54 employees and a total output value of 1.46 million yuan.
Transportation
Zhenglong township has convenient water and land transportation. Highway: county level highways from Laibin to Zhenglong, Honghe, Dawan, Wuxuan, Xiangzhou and Liuzhou run through the towns. The asphalt road from Laibin to Honghe was opened in October 1999. The average daily passenger flow is 500-800 person times. After the implementation of the village to village highway project in 1998, the six villagers' committees can drive motor vehicles, and the sugarcane district highway has made the traffic network in the territory. Waterway: mainly through the Hongshui River to Laibin, Qianjiang Town, down to Wuzhou, Guangzhou, can pass 120 ton machine barge. In December 1965, the ferry of Honghe farm was built, which can transit vehicles.
Commercial trade
Zhenglongwei pavilion was built in 1984, with an area of 782 square meters. In 1999, there were three polder pavilions, covering an area of 1100 square meters. The open-air polder covers an area of 200 square meters, with 12 meat tables. The main commodities are piglets, grain and oil, and daily necessities. There are 2000-6000 people who drive the polder every day, and the trade turnover is 30000-70000 yuan. In 2005, there were more than 70 individual traders with 120 employees, and the turnover was 35000 yuan. In 2006, there were more than 80 individual traders with 168 employees, and the turnover was 45000 yuan.
Finance
From 1950s to 1970s, the main revenue of township finance was agricultural tax. In the 1990s, with the development of sugar production, sugarcane specialty tax has become a major part of township fiscal revenue. In 1990, the revenue was 316000 yuan; in 1998, the revenue was 3130000 yuan. One Zhenglong credit cooperative was established in 1984. At the end of 1999, the balance of savings deposits in the whole township was 2 million yuan. In 2005, the balance of savings deposits in the whole township was 17.8 million yuan. At the end of 2006, the balance of savings deposits in the whole township was 23.97 million yuan.
Post, telecom, mobile communication
Before September 1984, rural postal delivery was delivered by Longnan post and Telecommunications Office of Honghe farm, with a postal route of 39 km. In 1986, the manual telephone was terminated. At the end of 1997, the county post and Telecommunications Bureau built a comprehensive post and Telecommunications Building in Zhenglong, set up optical cable lines, opened program-controlled telephone, and had 240 exchanges. In August 1998, there were two agencies in Zhenglong Township, namely post office and telecom office, with two employees and one employee respectively. In the 32nd year of Guangxu (1906), the masses donated money to build a small school "Rongshen school" in Guandi Temple of Zhenglong street. In 1987, there were 2984 students and 111 teachers in the township. In 2000, there were 1 middle school, 5 primary schools and 38 teaching sites in the township, with 6821 students and 114 citizen run teachers; 2 preschool classes with 477 students and 21 teachers; 1 kindergarten with 130 children. There were 4171 school-age children in the township, with an enrollment rate of 98.3%. From 1995 to 1999, we invested 3.5 million yuan to build nine teaching buildings.
