Dongmiao Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Du'an Yao Autonomous County, Hechi City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Du'an Yao Autonomous County, bordering on TISU Township in the East, LiuYe township of Dahua County in the south, Yalong township of Dahua County in the West and Baoan Township in the North. The people's government is located in dongmiao village, 18 kilometers away from the county people's government. The administrative area is 157.21 square kilometers.
Before 1949, it belonged to Gantang Township, Anding District. In 1950, it belonged to the second district. In July 1958, it belonged to Hongxing commune of Du'an Yao Autonomous County. In 1959, the Soviet commune. In 1989, dongmiao Township set up 11 village offices and 38 administrative villages. By the end of 2018, 30505 people registered residence in Dong Miao township. As of June 2020, dongmiao township has 12 administrative villages. The Township People's government is located in dongmiao village.
