Donglan town
Donglan town is located in the middle of Donglan County, across the Hongshui River in the East, facing Aidong and Changle towns, bordering Simeng Township in the west, Lanmu Township in the South and Changjiang Township in the north. The total area is 272.28 square kilometers, equivalent to 408420 mu, including 18300 mu of cultivated land and 31219 mu of forest land. Now it has jurisdiction over 2 communities (East and west of the city), 17 administrative villages, 352 villager groups, 92 communities and 375 natural villages. At the end of 2003, the total population was 50156, including 16641 in the county town.

Donglan town is an ancient city with a history of more than 460 years. In 1535, Wei Qiyun, governor of Donglan Prefecture, moved the Prefecture Office from jiuzhoutun of wuzhuan. Donglan town is located in subtropical humid climate zone, which is suitable for the survival and reproduction of animals and plants and the growth of subtropical crops. The main biological resources are rice, corn, soybean, chestnut, tung oil tree, Camellia oleifera, star anise, etc., among which star anise and Camellia oleifera rank first in the county. The planting area is 18000 Mu and 12000 Mu respectively. The main food crops are rice, corn, soybean, etc.; the main economic crops are cassava, dry lotus root, taro, etc.; the main economic forests are Camellia oleifera, tung oil tree, star anise, silkworm; the main fruits are chestnut, La Yue orange, plum, red seven pomelo, wampee, banana, etc.; the main animal resources are cattle, horses, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, fish, etc.
This is the main production area of star anise in Donglan county. It has a long history of cultivation and good quality. It is mainly distributed in Bala, Xinyan, Weirong, Dawen, Banfeng, Laba and other villages. In 2003, the output of star anise reached 1950 tons. Camellia oleifera is a traditional famous product of Donglan county. Its Camellia oleifera is favored by consumers because of its bright color, fragrant smell, high-fat, high blood pressure and other health functions, Its products are widely sold in Laba, Weirong, naheng, Dawen, Baihao and other villages. In 2003, the output of camellia seed reached 483.7 tons.
The goats in Donglan town are mainly black goats, which are distributed in high and cold mountain areas such as Shuidong, Wulian, Renyi, Nonghua and Tiandong. Due to the unique climate resources, rich forage resources and natural stocking all the year round, the goats here are small in size, fresh and tender in meat, mellow in soup and not greasy in food. At the end of 2003, 16365 goats were sold in the town, and 28340 goats were in stock at the end of the year.
Industry

East orchid martyrs cemetery
Formerly known as "Revolutionary Martyrs Park", it is located on the west side of Donglan county. It was built in 1957. The cemetery covers a total area of 100000 square meters, with a construction area of 3650 square meters. There are stone statues of Wei Baqun, Chen Hongtao, Huang Daquan and other martyrs, sculptures of heroes of the agricultural army, exhibition hall of revolutionary cultural relics, memorial tower of revolutionary martyrs, Tomb of Wei Baqun and monument of revolutionary martyrs Buildings. More than 600 pieces of cultural relics, photos, documents and historical materials from the first revolutionary war to the period of socialist construction are displayed in the exhibition hall. In 1963, it was designated as a key cultural relics protection unit of the autonomous region. On October 15, 1986, the State Council listed the "cemetery of revolutionary martyrs" in Eastern orchid as a national key protection unit for memorial buildings for martyrs.
Ma On Shan
Liangfeng tunnel is located under the ancient banyan tree at the foot of Ma'anshan mountain. The width of the tunnel is about 10 meters and the depth is more than 20 meters. There are many small zigzag holes in the tunnel. After passing through Ma'anshan mountain, there are clear springs flowing in the tunnel. In summer, the wind is cool in the cave, so it is called "Liangfeng tunnel". In 1934, Lu Chuan and Xiao Daolong engraved the word "good wind tunnel" on the stone wall beside the cave. The cave has always been a cool summer recreation place for the people of Donglan mountain city.
Shiyun Cave (also known as the little moon palace) is located on the hillside of Ma'an mountain. From the foot of the mountain to the entrance of the cave, there are more than 60 stone steps. The depth of the cave is more than 20 meters, and the width is more than 10 meters. The top of the cave is filled with milk stones, which are in various shapes, like clouds in the sky, like bamboo shoots standing upside down, lifelike. There are also natural Shentai and stone dragons in the cave. Every spring and autumn, the fog rises in the cave and the scenery is unique. During the Anti Japanese War, this cave was the place where the secret communication command radio station of the Anti Japanese army was set up. In 1978, it was one of the shooting spots of the film "the story of Bago".
The natural stone gate is located in the triangle between Liangfeng tunnel and Shiyun cave. The gate is 1.8 meters high. It is naturally carved and can be penetrated by people. The ancients once engraved the word "stone gate" at the end of the gate.
Shibi cliff carving is located on the stone wall of Liangfeng tunnel scenic area. Many ancient literati engraved poems praising the scenery of Donglan mountain city, such as "West photo of Baling", "Buddha of ten thousand families", "people with flowing water on baling bridge".
The hundred year old banyan is located on the hillside of Yufeng cave. The banyan is deeply rooted, with luxuriant branches and leaves. The shade covers several meters and the scenery is charming.
Ma'anshan camp is located at the top of Ma'anshan mountain, with stone walls. It was one of the green camp in Shunzhi period of Qing Dynasty. There are stone terraces built from the hillside to pass yingpanling. You can enjoy a panoramic view of Donglan mountain city by climbing to the top of the mountain.
Yishou Bridge
Yishou bridge, located at the south foot of Ma'anshan in Donglan County, crosses Jiuqu River and is a three arch stone bridge. It is 38.7 meters long, 8.5 meters high and 4.6 meters wide, with stone steps at both ends and stone bars on both sides of the bridge. It was built by Wei Yinglong, a chieftain of Eastern Lanzhou, in 1578, to raise money for his mother Jin's 60th birthday, so it is called Yishou bridge. According to research, the bridge is one of the two stone bridges built earlier in Guangxi (the other is in Guigang City).
