Maojingba Township, belonging to Longhua County, Chengde City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Longhua County, adjacent to Sidaogou Township, Ningcheng County, Inner Mongolia in the East, Dengshang Township, Chengde County in the southeast, Qijia town in the south, wasteland Township in the southwest and West, Lanqi Kalun Township, Weichang County in the northwest, Meilin Town, Inner Mongolia in the north and Heilihe Town, Inner Mongolia in the northeast, covering an area of 305 68 square kilometers, and as of 2018, the registered residence population was 10678.
In 1949, it belonged to the 12th district of Longhua. In 1956, Damiao township was established. In 1961, seven lighthouse communes established Damiao commune. In 1982, it was changed into Maojingba commune. In 1984, the commune was abolished and Maojingba township was established. As of June 2020, Maojingba has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages.
