Yandong Township

Yandong Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Debao County, Baise City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Debao County, adjacent to Longguang Township in the East, Tongde Township in Jingxi city in the south, Wuping Township in Jingxi city in the west, Chengguan town and ronghua Township in the north, with an administrative area of 326.39 square kilometers.

By the end of 2018, 34 thousand and 500 households registered residence in Yan Tong Township, mainly in Zhuang nationality. As of October 2019, Yandong has jurisdiction over 19 administrative villages.

History of construction

During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Xianfeng Jia and Qinjia; during the reign of emperor Xianfeng of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Yongan, An'an and Qinjia liupo regiments.

In the 22nd year of the Republic of China (1933), it was divided into four townships: Yandong, Wangdong, Lantang and Qinjia. In January of the 37th year of the Republic of China (1948), Lantang, Wangmei and Qinjia were abolished. In April of the same year, WangMei township was added, Wangdong township was changed into Xingwang Township, and Yandong township was changed into Qinyan township.

In 1949, Lantang Township and Yandong Township were restored.

In January 1950, it was divided into five townships: Yandong, Lantang, Wangmei, Qinjia and Wangdong.

In August 1951, five small townships were under the jurisdiction of four districts.

From 1952 to 1954, the four districts were divided into 16 townships: Yandong, Qinjia, Hexin, Ping'an, Xingwang, Jiangmiao, Lantang, Wanglu, Lianzhang, Kanhua, NaBu, Balong, Pingcheng, Hongyi, Wangmei and duoxue.

In 1958, the district was changed into a commune and renamed. Yandong district was changed into iron and steel people's commune, and Xiaoxiang was changed into a brigade.

In May 1959, it was renamed Yandong people's commune.

In 1962, it was also called Yandong District, and it was still called brigade below the district; the district remained unchanged until August 1987.

In 1984, it was renamed Yandong township.

administrative division

In 1941, nagui and Duoxin villages in Qinjia Township were transferred to nahuai township; in 1941, Meicun, Wangcun and honge villages in Wangdong Township were transferred to Lingjia township; in January 1948, Nasha and Sanka villages in Lantang Township were transferred to Yandong township; Shipai, Quancheng, duopang, pozhou, Shangqin, xiaqin, qinzao and yaoqin villages in Qinjia Township were transferred to Yandong township; and in Wangmei Township were transferred to Yandong township Duowu village was transferred to Yandong township.

On September 23, 1987, Xingwang township was added. Nine villages of Xingwang, NaBu, Balong, wanjiang, NACHA, Longsha, Meiwei, Luwang and Wangtun in Yandong Township were allocated to Xingwang township.

In 1990, Yandong Township governed 10 administrative villages, including Qinjia, Pingcheng, Qinhe, duolong, Kanhua (Baotang), Yandong, Ping'an, Lianzhang, Longli and gutao.

In 2017, Yandong rural area has jurisdiction over 19 administrative villages including Yandong, Baotang, Ping'an, Xiazhang, chengtun, xiaqin, duolong, Litun, Longli, gutao, Xingwang, Balong, NaBu, wanjiang, NACHA, Longsha, Liuwang, Wangtun and Meiwei, 203 natural villages and 268 villager groups.

As of October 2019, Yandong village has 19 administrative villages: Yandong village, gutao village, Baotang village, Xiazhang village, Ping'an Village, Longli village, Litun village, chengtun village, xiaqin village, duolong village, Xingwang village, NaBu village, Balong village, Wanjiang village, NACHA village, Longsha village, Wangtun village, Meiwei village and Liuwang village.
