Dali Town
Located in the northwest end of Beiliu City and the south foot of Darong mountain with charming scenery, it is adjacent to Yulin city. The town people's government is located in Dali, 22 kilometers away from Beiliu City and 8 kilometers away from Yulin city. The town governs 16 administrative villages and 172 villager groups, with a population of 54300 at the end of 2013, mainly Han nationality, and no ethnic minorities.
With a total area of 84 square kilometers, the area has 30100 mu of arable land, 35500 mu of mountainous area and 13000 mu of suitable fruit area. Except for Lindong, Guantang and Gaodong villages, which are located in Darong mountain area, the rest are plains with fertile land. There are abundant hydropower resources in Yulin, including one large reservoir and one hydropower plant in Yulin, two small hydropower stations and one power supply station in Yulin. All villages in the town are connected with cars, and the traffic network is developed. The hardening rate of the roads in the towns is high. The South (ning) Wuzhou Expressway under construction runs through the town, and the traffic is very convenient.

In 1987, Xinxu town was divided into independent townships. In May 1994, the townships were withdrawn to establish towns. The total land area of the town is 6767.51 hectares (101500 mu), with cultivated land area of 30045 mu, accounting for 29.6% of the total area of the town, including 27470 mu of paddy field (24474 mu of paddy field) and 2618 mu of dry land, which are mainly distributed in the southern half of the plain, with fertile land. the current town people's government is connected with datangwei of Yulin City (23 km away from Beiliu City and 11 km away from Yulin City). It has jurisdiction over 16 Social committees and 172 villager groups, including Luoyang, Shalong, Liudui, Xiaoma, Lindong Guantang, Gaodong, Liuma, Yuetang, Datang, Luopo, Dali, Guhong, Baoxi, liuhou and lincun. At the end of 1995, there were 9028 households with 44857 people, including 21308 women and 556 non-agricultural population. The population density is 663 per square kilometer. The villagers speak Cantonese dialect and Hakka.
Historical evolution
Dali town was the seat of Lingcheng County in Tang Dynasty and shi'erli in Qing Dynasty. At the beginning of the Republic of China, the system of Qing Dynasty was followed. In the early days of liberation, there were six thick areas. In 1958, it was renamed liuhou people's commune, and in 1962, it was assigned to Xinxu people's commune. In 1978, he set up two administrative work areas in his current jurisdiction, namely Dali administrative work area and Shalong administrative work area. In 1987, he was separated from Xinxu town and became an independent township. in May 1994, the township was set up. Yaobei Village (Gaopi Village) in Dali town was the administrative center of Lingcheng county from 668 to 972.
Geography and climate
Dali town is located in the south of Darong mountain. The terrain is high in the north and low in the city. The highest peak of Dali town is located in gouzuoling of Darong mountain in the north, with an altitude of 611. Li meters. The northern part of the mountain is undulating, and the southern part is flat and open, with slight hills. The main river is Qingwan River, which originates from dakeshan, runs through the middle of the town from north to south, and finally converges into Nanliujiang river system. Its upstream DAYISHAN reservoir and power plant in Yulin area is one of the important reservoirs and power plants in Yulin area. Dali town is located in the south of the Tropic of cancer, with a subtropical monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 21.8 ℃, 2 ℃ lower in the northern Dami mountain area than in the southern plain, and - 2 ℃ in the southern extreme low temperature; 4 ℃ in Darong mountain area, with an annual rainfall of 1700mm, an annual accumulated temperature of more than 10 ℃ and a frost free period of 352 days. The zonal soil is lateritic red soil, and its parent material is mainly residual, slope, proluvial and alluvium of granite and sand shale. The soil layer is loose and deep, and the contents of organic matter and Zuka and junka elements in cultivated land are medium and low. The natural conditions are suitable for the growth of various subtropical crops.

Dali town's agriculture is mainly rice, followed by sweet potato, soybean, sugarcane, peanut, cassava and vegetables. The town has 30045 mu of arable land, accounting for 29.6% of the total land area, including 27427 mu of paddy field (24474 mu of paddy field), 2618 mu of dry land, mainly distributed in the southern half of the plain. There are 12 characteristic bases of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in the town, which are rich in fragrant rice, fruit cane, cassava, peanut, stone melon, vegetables, litchi, star anise, Yugui, fir, water fish, hairy crab, lean meat pig, beef cattle, chicken and duck, eggs, etc. all the year round. It is known as the "granary" of Beiliu and one of the "vegetable baskets" of Yulin city. In 2002, the gross national product of the whole town was 367.9 million yuan, the total financial income was 4.68 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 2416 yuan. Freshwater aquaculture is dominated by water fish, hairy crab, pond horned fish and four big fish; animal husbandry is dominated by lean meat pigs, mutton sheep, beef cattle and poultry. The town has 2402 hectares of forest land mainly composed of pine and bin, with a greening rate of 99.2%; 15230 mu of fruit trees mainly composed of litchi, longan and banana; 2628 mu of economic forests mainly composed of star anise and Yugui. The forest coverage rate of the whole town is 37%. According to the market demand and the situation of Dali Town, ten scientific breeding and processing demonstration bases including cassava, fruit cane, star anise, high-quality grain, Dendrocalamus latiflorus, fast growing eucalyptus, vegetables, water fish, improved pig and cattle and rice flour processing have been established. The successful experience of the demonstration base has radiated the whole town and effectively promoted the comprehensive agricultural development process of Dali town. There are 211.11 hectares of grassland and 198.5 hectares of water area in Dali town. Among the water areas, 64.51 hectares are ponds. Dali town traditional aquaculture and animal husbandry to fish, pigs, cattle, poultry farming. The main pig breeds are sanyuanza, biyuanza and lean meat pigs. The large-scale farms include xinhefeng farm and huangshou farm. There are 11 farms with more than 10000 chickens, which are distributed in Luoyang, Shalong and other villages. Beef cattle include yellow cattle and buffalo, which are raised by farmers. In 2005, farmers in liuhou village introduced nililafi to breed buffalo. Among them, liangjiayu family is the largest, and Shili dairy buffalo farm covering an area of 6.73 hectares was built. At the end of 2012, there were 186 milk buffaloes in the farm, including 42 milking buffaloes, providing fresh milk for dairy companies on a regular basis. By the end of 2012, there were 2991 cattle in the town, including 1963 yellow cattle, 1018 Buffalo, 10 sand cattle, 44640 pigs and 1128138 poultry, including 1030610 chickens, 87452 ducks and 10076 geese. The total output of meat is 6834 tons, the output of milk is 60 tons, and the output of poultry eggs is 117 tons, including 10 tons of eggs, 75 tons of duck eggs and 32 tons of goose eggs. The output of aquatic products is 1178 tons. in 2012, the total agricultural output value was 207 million yuan. Rice is the main food crop. In 2012, it produced 19200 tons of grain, including 17900 tons of rice. The main economic crops are vegetables, sugarcane and cassava, with a planting area of 1440 hectares and an output of 38200 tons, including 23500 tons of vegetables, 13200 tons of sugarcane and 041 tons of cassava. Sugarcane planting has experienced the process from scattered planting to large-scale planting. By the end of 2012, the sugarcane planting area in the town reached 104.4 hectares. In August 2010, Beiliu municipal government introduced and invested by Yulin chuiluhang agricultural and sideline products Co., Ltd. to build a pollution-free vegetable production base in liuhou village and Liuma village. By the end of 2011, the investment was 26.7 million yuan and the construction area was 100 hectares. The vegetables were exported to Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
Industry
When Dali town first became an independent Township, its industrial foundation was weak and the number of industrial enterprises was small. In the 1990s, the industry developed by leaps and bounds, forming an industrial enterprise system with hydropower, papermaking, red bricks, firecrackers, construction, food, etc. as the leading enterprises. Later, with the adjustment of industrial structure and the change of market demand, the main industrial enterprises in Dali town changed, and food processing, electric power and mechanical parts manufacturing became the main industries. At the end of 2012, Dali town had 31 industrial enterprises with 1039 employees, including 4 Industrial Enterprises above designated size. The total income of industrial enterprises in the town is 1051.49 million yuan. Yanhua Starch Co., Ltd. is a key leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization in Yulin City, with an annual output of 10000 tons of "Lingyan brand" starch and 20000 tons of maltose syrup.

traffic
Dali town has convenient transportation. Nanguang Expressway passes through Yuetang, Liuma, Liudui and Xiaoma villages in the northwest. The town government is only 3 km away from Hanshan entrance of Nanguang Expressway and 1.6 km away from Yulin Guiping road. The third-class highway from Longjing of Beiliu City to Datang town of Yuzhou District passes through the hinterland of the town center and is one of the main passageways leading to Hanshan entrance and exit of Nanguang expressway. At the end of 2012, four grade concrete roads were built in 16 villages of the town.
