Historical evolution
In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Laoyue capital of Wu'an township. After Jiaqing of Qing Dynasty, it was called Tanwei training. In 1927, it was established as Tanwei Township, belonging to the first district. In the 30 years of the Republic of China, there were four districts in Lingshan County, and Tanwei was the second district. In December 1949, Lingshan County was divided into districts again, and Tanwei belonged to the first district. In June 1951, Tanwei town was established, belonging to the fourth district. In June 1955, the fourth district under the jurisdiction of the county was renamed Tanwei district. In September 1957, Tanwei township was established. In September 1958, the red flag (Tanwei) people's commune was established; in October of the same year, Nalong and Sanlong were merged, and their residence was still in Tanwei street. In June 1961, Tanwei district was set up in Lingshan County after adjusting the division. In 1963, Tanwei people's commune was established.
