Rhino foot town, a town under the jurisdiction of Qinnan District, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the south end of Qinzhou City. It faces Xichang town of Hepu County across the sea in the East, Qinzhou Port Economic and Technological Development Zone in the west, Qinzhou Bay in the south, Dafanpo town and Dongchang town in the north. The administrative area is 255 square kilometers. The coastline is 88.7 kilometers long and the shallow sea beach area is 6635 hectares.

In the first year of Tang Zongzhang (668), Wulei county was set up to govern the east of Wulei village, rhinoceros foot town, Qinzhou. In September 1984, rhino foot commune was changed into rhino foot Township, belonging to Qinzhou City. In August 1993, rhino foot township was changed into rhino foot town. In October 1994, rhinoceros foot town was transferred to Qinnan District of Qinzhou City. As of June 2020, rhino foot town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 14 administrative villages. The town people's government is located at 5 Xiangyang Road. As of 2018, there are more than 70000 permanent residents in rhinoceros foot town.

History of construction

In the first year of Tang Zongzhang (668), Wulei county was set up to govern the east of Wulei village, rhinoceros foot town, Qinzhou. In 675, Yushan Prefecture was set up to govern the east of Wulei village, rhinoceros foot town, and Yushan Prefecture was changed to Luzhou under the name of ZhouJie mountain, which governs Anhai, Wulei and Yushan counties. In the first year of Tang Tianbao (742), Luzhou was changed to Yushan County, and its subordinate county was changed to Li. Yushan County was renamed Huaqing county. In 757, Anhai county was renamed Ninghai County. In the first year of Qianyuan (758) of Tang Dynasty, Yushan County was changed to Luzhou, and its subordinate county was changed to Li. In the third year of Dali (768), Wulei and Huaqing counties were abandoned, and Luzhou moved to Ninghai County (now Yushan, Southeast of nanmang Street). Since then, the town has been Anyuan County, Qinzhou, Qinxian.

In 1930, toujia and Erjia townships were set up, belonging to Qin county. In 1941, there were two townships, toujia and Yinghuan.

In the spring of 1951, eight small townships were set up.

In 1957, eight small townships were merged into rhinoceros foot township. The next autumn, rhinoceros foot township was incorporated into Qinzhou commune.

In June 1959, rhinoceros foot commune was established.

In September 1984, rhino foot commune was changed into rhino foot Township, belonging to Qinzhou City.

In August 1993, rhino foot township was changed into rhino foot town.

In October 1994, rhinoceros foot town was transferred to Qinnan District of Qinzhou City.

By the end of 2011, rhino foot town had jurisdiction over 22 administrative villages: Rhino foot, Dahuan, Wulei, Sanniangwan, Lianmin, Bailu, shipyard, Lingjiao, Shajiao, Xiliao, battery, lingmen, Butou, Dazao, Pingshan, lu'erhuan, jiduntou, Jingu, Xinlian, Danliao, Daping and Xikeng, and 247 villager groups.

In 2018, rhino foot town governs 19 villages (communities), 108 natural villages and 246 villager groups.

As of June 2020, rhino foot town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 14 administrative villages: Xinlian community, Danliao community, rhino foot village, Lianmin village, Bailu village, Chuanchang village, Lingjiao village, Xiliao village, Paotai village, lingmen village, Butou village, Xikeng village, Dazao village, Pingshan village, Daping village and Shajiao village. The town people's government is located at 5 Xiangyang Road.
