Longmen port town

Longlonggang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Qinnan District, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Qinnan District, 47 kilometers away from the urban area. It is adjacent to Qinzhou Port in the East, Maoling town in Fangchenggang City in the west, Guangpo town in Fangchenggang City in the South and MaoWeiHai town in the north, with an administrative area of 11.93 square kilometers.

In the pre Qin period, Longmen port was a place of Baiyue. In September 1984, Longmen commune was changed into Longmen Township, belonging to Qinzhou City. In August 1993, Longmen township was changed into Longmen town. In October 1994, Longmen town was transferred to Qinnan District of Qinzhou City. By the end of 2018, the population of Longmen town was 8260. As of June 2020, Longmengang town has four administrative villages.

In 2018, the investment in fixed assets of Longmen port town was 94 million yuan, and the financial and tax revenue was 3.674 million yuan.

History of construction

In the pre Qin period, Longmen port town belonged to Baiyue. After the first emperor of Qin unified China, Longmen port town belonged to Xiang county.

From Han Dynasty to Jin Dynasty, Longmen Town belonged to Hepu County of Jiaozhou.

At the end of the Southern Dynasty, Yuanjia set up the end of Shoujun, and the Liang Dynasty set up Anzhou.

In the fifth year of Wude (622), ningyue county was changed into Qinzhou general office.

In Yuan Dynasty, it was changed to Qinzhou road.

From Ming Dynasty to the end of Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Anyuan County, Qinzhou, Qinxian County, Qinzhou and Qinzhou Zhili Prefecture.

During the period of the Republic of China, Longmen township was established, belonging to Qin county.

In 1958, Longmen township was incorporated into Qinzhou commune. In June of the next year, Longmen commune was established.

In September 1984, Longmen commune was changed into Longmen Township, belonging to Qinzhou City.

In August 1993, Longmen township was changed into Longmen town.

In October 1994, Longmen town was transferred to Qinnan District of Qinzhou City.
