Dijiao Street

Dijiao street, a street under the jurisdiction of Haicheng District, Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Beihai City, with Tibet Road in the East, dadunhai in the west, Beihai Avenue in the South and Beihai harbor in the north. Its coastline is 12 km, about 8 km away from the urban center, with a total area of 9.29 square kilometers.

In the early Ming Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Guli village, one of the "eight villages of Zhuchang" in Hepu. In September 1984, the organizational system was abolished and Dijiao town was restored, which was subordinate to the former suburban people's government. On August 23, 1990, Shazhen set up an office under the people's Government of Haicheng District. By the end of 2011, Dijiao street had a total population of 19834; by June 2020, Dijiao street had five communities under its jurisdiction. Dijiao sub district office is located at 659 Xialiao, Dijiao.

In 2018, Dijiao Street completed a total investment of 710 million yuan in fixed assets, of which the turnover of catering industry increased by 16%; the total retail sales of social consumer goods increased by 10.1%; the actual investment of 400 million yuan was completed.

History of construction

In the early Ming Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Guli village, one of the "eight villages of Zhuchang" in Hepu.

Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was the 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th branch of the western town of Beihai.

At the beginning of the founding of new China, Shangcun Township and Xiacun township of the first district government and Jingxi Township and dianbailiao township of the second district government were in charge.

In 1953, Dijiao town government was established.

In November 1956, it was changed into Dijiao sub district office of Beihai Municipal People's Committee.

In October 1958, it was under the jurisdiction of Beihai commune in Hepu County.

In 1961, Dijiao commune was established.
