Badi Township
Badi township is located in the southwest of Beichuan County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. It is adjacent to Yuli Township in the East, dunshang Township in the south, Maoxian County in the West and machao Township in the north, covering an area of 83 square kilometers. It governs 15 administrative villages and 1 community neighborhood committee, with a total population of 7284, including 4687 Qiang, Tibetan, Hui and other ethnic minorities. The altitude of the village is 940-2689 meters, the forest area is 78435 mu, the volume of standing trees is 2.65 million cubic meters, and the forest coverage rate is 53.9%.
On December 25, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Mianyang City (cfzm [2019] No. 27): dunshang township was canceled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Badi Township, and Badi Township People's government was stationed at No. 2, Binhe North Road.

administrative division
Beichuan County governs townships. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, a dam base was set up. In 1940, Badi township was changed to Central Township in 1951, commune was changed in 1958, Badi township was established in 1984, and Badi Qiang Tibetan township was established in 1985. Located in the west of the county, 29 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 247 square kilometers and has a population of 11000. There are County Road intersection here, city (mouth) a (dam) road transit. It has jurisdiction over 27 village committees and Badi neighborhood committees, including badipu, Shuanghe, Tongping, Guangrong, Baisha, minwu, Maping, Yangshan, Chuanping, Sanxi, Shuitian, xiaolinghou, shibanguan, Jinlong, Qingping, Jinpen, Jinshan, Yangjiao, Xinmin, Linggang, Pingdi, Kushan, mingtou, Huaqiao, Muping, heiting and Heishui. Local products are medicinal materials, cocoons, fruits. There are three power stations. In 1935, the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army confronted the Sichuan army in Qianfo Mountain for 73 days and built a monument to the battle of Qianfo Mountain.
Infrastructure
Transportation has developed rapidly. Before 1986, there were only two mechanized roads in Ma'anshan and sanjiaozhai, except Changling (Changling town) and Wushan (Wushan Township, Kaixian County). From 1991 to 2005, the roads of baobuzhai, Changyangou and daxingmiao were built, with a total mileage of 105 km, achieving the goal of village to village highway, and 90% of villages achieved the goal of community to village highway, ending the history of farmers' shoulder to shoulder grinding for generations. The GDP of the township is 71.58 million yuan, including 43.85 million yuan for the primary industry, 14.24 million yuan for the secondary industry and 13.49 million yuan for the tertiary industry. The output of grain is 8287 tons, meat 1520 tons and fruit 210 tons. The annual per capita net income of farmers is 2286 yuan.
Educational culture
Great progress has been made in culture, education and public health. In 1996, nine-year compulsory education was basically popularized. In 2005, the township had one junior middle school, one central primary school and seven village primary schools. There are 728 junior middle school students, 1386 primary school students and 107 teaching staff. There are 1 Township Health Center, 13 village health stations and 2 individual clinics. 1397 cable (including optical fiber) TV households have been opened.
