Xingshou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Changping District, Beijing, is located in the northeast of Changping District, between 116 ° 21'53 "~ 116 ° 30'00" E and 40 ° 10'52 "~ 40 ° 17'09" n. In 1948, the Xingshou area belonged to four districts of Changshun county. In 1949, it belonged to the Fourth District of Changping County. In July 1953, the district was established to govern the township, and Xingshou Township governed four villages, namely, Xingshou, Qincheng, Xiangfang and Dongzhuang. Taolin Township governs Taolin and Xinzhuang villages. Xiangtun Township governs Xiangtun, Xiaocun and Shatuo. In February 1956, the three townships were merged into Xingshou township. From August to November 1958, it belonged to Dongfeng people's Commune and Xiaotangshan people's commune, which was called workstation. In May 1961, Xingshou people's commune was established. In December 1982, the commune was transformed into a township. In December 1997, the three townships of Shangyuan, Xingshou and Xiazhuang were merged into Xingshou town.
