Halejing Mongolian Township
Halejing Mongolian Township, belonging to Haiyan County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the northeast of Haiyan County. It is connected with Huangzhong County in the East, Jintan Township in the south, Xihai town in the West and Datong County in the north. The area is 759.83 square kilometers. In 2018, 1627 people registered residence.
Before 1949, it was the pasturing land of various Mongolian tribes. While retaining the tribal system, it established the halejing administrative village, which governs the first and second villages of erlikbele, tuomaogong village, qunke village and akagong village. In 1958, it was classified as a state-owned lakeside ranch. In the same year, due to the needs of national construction, the ranch and some village herdsmen and livestock moved to Tuole ranch, Gangcha and Qilian counties, respectively. The tribal system ended, and the rest of the herdsmen and livestock merged into ganzihe commune. In 1953, halejing village was established under the jurisdiction of Beishan district. In 1983, halejing Mongolian township was established. As of October 2019, halejing Mongolian countryside has jurisdiction over three administrative villages.
In 2011, there were 563000 mu of grassland available in halejing Mongolian Township, with a total income of 31.132 million yuan from agriculture and animal husbandry. Animal husbandry is mainly for raising horses, cattle and sheep. At the end of the year, there are 752 million livestock in stock, and the per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen is 12657.3 yuan.
