Pulu Yao nationality township, a township under the jurisdiction of Lipu City, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Lipu City, adjacent to Lagou Township and zhaisha town of Luzhai County in the west, Baoli township of Yongfu county and Jinbao township of Yangshuo County in the north, with an administrative area of 259 square kilometers. Before liberation, it was Dingxi township. In 1984, it was renamed Pulu Yao township. By the end of 2018, the total population of Pulu Yao township is 9449, including about 9000 agricultural population; there are six ethnic groups, including Han, Zhuang, Yao and Dong, of which the Yao population accounts for 41% of the total population, and is the only ethnic minority Township in Lipu city. By the end of 2019, there will be one community and eight administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Pulu Yao rural area, and the township government will be located at No.1 Pulu street.

In 2018, the investment in fixed assets in Pulu Yao township was 87.7 million yuan, the output value of large-scale industrial enterprises was 776.18 million yuan, and the fiscal and tax revenue was 10.5427 million yuan.

History of construction

Before the Ming Dynasty, the mountain area of Pulu was desolate, with tigers and wolves and few people.

From the early Ming Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, people came from Hunan, Shandong, Guangdong, Jiangxi and other places to reclaim wasteland and build villages.

Before liberation, it was Dingxi township.

After liberation in 1950, for the Second District of Pulu township.
