Lingui Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Lingui District, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is the resident of the people's Government of Lingui district. It is adjacent to Jiashan street, Xiufeng District, Guilin City in the East, Wutong town and Liangjiang town in the west, Sitang town in the south, Dingjiang Town, Lingchuan County in the north, with an administrative area of 213.43 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, Lingui town has a population of 33108 households and 124787 people, including Zhuang and Han nationalities. By the end of 2019, it has jurisdiction over 7 communities and 16 administrative villages, and the town government is located in Miaotou street.

History of construction
Qing Dynasty, belongs to Lingui county. In 1940, Yangtang district was set up, belonging to Lingui county. In 1954, it belonged to the Sixth District and the twelfth District of Lingui county. In 1957, Yangtang Township and Miaotou Township were established. In 1958, Miaotou township was transformed into Hongzhuan commune; the following year, Miaotou and Yangtang communes were established. In 1962, it was Miaotou district. In 1966, Miaotou district was changed into Miaotou commune; in the same year, Miaotou commune was changed into Dongfeng commune. In October 1972, Dongfeng commune was changed into Miaotou commune. In January 1983, Lingui town was set up, and Miaotou commune was changed into Miaoling commune. In 1984, Miaoling commune was changed into Miaoling township. In 1990, there were Lingui town and Miaoling Township in the current Lingui town. In February 1996, Miaoling township was renamed Miaoling town. in December 2001, Lingui town and Miaoling town merged into Lingui town.
