Located in the southeast of Changping District, Beiqijia town is located between 116 ° 20'45 "~ 116 ° 29'11" E and 40 ° 03'27 "~ 40 ° 09'10" n, bordering houshayu town of Shunyi District in the East, Laiguangying township of Chaoyang District and Dongxiaokou town of Changping District in the south, Shahe Town in the West and Xiaotangshan town across Wenyu River in the north. The town covers an area of 56.65 square kilometers.
In January 1948, Beiqijia District belonged to the seventh district of Changshun county. In August 1949, it belonged to the Fifth District of Changping County. In October 1999, Yandan Township and pingxifu town were merged, forming the present jurisdiction. By the end of 2018, Beiqijia town had 45886 registered residence population. As of June 2020, Beiqijia town has 22 communities and 19 administrative villages, and the town government is located in dongerqi village, Beiqijia Town, Changping District.
