Qiaoban Township, Rong'an County, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Province, with a total area of 231.69 square kilometers, is a typical rocky mountain area. The township has 10 administrative villages including Qiaoban, Gudan, xialiang, lianglao, Zhongcun, Guban, Yangshan, Jiangbian, Wentang and Ercun, 108 natural villages and 3679 households. By the end of 2017, there were 17687 permanent residents, which is a concentrated residence of Zhuang people.

Qiaoban township is located in the southeast of Rong'an County, which is 60 kilometers away from the county seat, with 109 degrees 29 minutes 49 seconds to 109 degrees 38 minutes 17 seconds east longitude and 24 degrees 46 minutes 13 seconds to 25 degrees 00 minutes 30 seconds north latitude. The beautiful Lazhai River and Dong'an River meet here, which is the end of Chang'an Qiaoban highway. The total area of the township is 231.69 square kilometers, which is a typical stone mountain area. Qiaoban township is located in the hinterland of 48nong, Guangxi. It is a typical karst landform. There are underground rivers and karst caves all over the territory, with more mountains and less land. There are abundant mineral deposits in the mountain. According to preliminary exploration, there are lead-zinc ore, pyrite, zinc oxide ore, phosphate ore, etc., most of which are distributed in Gudan, lianglao, xialiang, Jiangbian, Guban and other villages. As early as the reign of Emperor Qianlong (1739), the people of Gudan had been smelting lead with indigenous methods for more than 200 years. In 1947, Luo zhengfen, the former head of Baishou County, bought lead-zinc ore at a low price in Gudan and sold it to Liuzhou at a high price, making a lot of profits. Gudan, Qianwang, tusaonong lead zinc mines, Tunqiu and Shaling iron mines have been mined. Therefore, the mining industry and mineral products processing is the main source of Qiaoban township's financial revenue, and it is also the hot spot of foreign investment. Qiaoban township is shaped like tobacco leaf, with a total length of northeast and southwest corners. Under the East and West, the central part rises from south to north, forming Wuzhuang landform.
