Tanzhong Street

Tanzhong sub district office is located in Chengzhong District, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Province. Established in July 2002, it is the political, economic and financial center of Hedong District, Liuzhou city. The office governs 8 communities and 1 administrative village. Regional scope

Tanzhong sub district office extends to Xueyuan Road and municipal people's Hospital in the East, Liujiang River embankment in the west, main road of Wenchang Road in the South and Gaoxin third road in the north. The area is about 10 square kilometers with a total population of 59256 (2010). There are more than 140 party and government organs, enterprises and institutions, Guangxi Institute of technology, the largest university in the city, and 15 green residential areas.

Honors

Guizhong community under the jurisdiction of the office has successively won the honorary titles of national model community for respecting the elderly, national business model community and top ten harmonious communities in Liuzhou city; Tandong community has won the awards of advanced civil affairs community and Star Community in the autonomous region, and Wenchang community has been rated as model community in Liuzhou City in 2010.
