Qiantong town
Qiantong Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Ninghai County, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the southwest of the county. It is adjacent to Yuelong street in the East, Jiaoyi town in the southeast, Shaliu street in Sanmen County, Taizhou City in the south, Sangzhou town in the southwest and Chalu town in the West. The town covers an area of 66.81 square kilometers. At the end of 2019, 25781 registered residence households, 1 residential committees and 17 village committees, 5 of the town government's North Street. In 2019, the total output value of industry and agriculture will be 2.324 billion yuan, the total investment in fixed assets will be 410 million yuan, and the fiscal revenue will be 82.59 million yuan.
Qiantong town is rich in tourism resources. There are two major tourist attractions, Qiantong ancient town (4A level) and lianghuangshan (3a level), as well as Shijing jingshe, Fuquan temple, Zhejiang first camphor and other cultural and natural landscapes. Qiantong Lantern Festival, which has a history of more than 500 years, has been included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage. It has been rated as a famous historical and cultural town in China, a famous historical and cultural town in Zhejiang Province, and a tourist town in Zhejiang Province. It has been selected into the list of beautiful town construction models in Zhejiang Province in 2020.
History of construction
From the Southern Song Dynasty to the middle of the Qing Dynasty, Tong Town belonged to LIANLI township. In 1728, the county was divided into county government and four townships in the southeast and northwest. There were villages under the village. Today, it belongs to Xixiang, including Zhulin, Zhehu, Tashan and some villages of Tangtou, hengchen and Jinchen. In 1932, it belonged to Zhulin, miaozhang, Zhehu, Tashan and Lianglu. In 1935, miaozhang township was merged into Zhulin Township, Zhehu township was changed into Guandi Township, and Tashan township was changed into Tashan town. In 1939, Zhulin Township and Guandi Township were merged into Zhuzhe Township, Tashan township was changed into Tashan Township, and Lianglu Township and the other two townships (Xianxi Township and Tangwang township) were merged into Gongxi township. In 1947, Zhuzhe Township and Tashan Township were merged into talin township. So far, the present situation is the whole territory of talin Township and part of Gongxi township. In 1950, it belonged to Tuanjie Township, Qiantong Township and Zhulin township. In 1956, the three townships were merged into Qiantong township. In March 1958, Qiantong township was divided into two townships, Qiantong and Zhulin. In November, it belongs to Chalu (Dongfeng) people's commune. In 1961, it was changed into two communes, Qiantong and Zhulin. In 1983, Qiantong and Zhulin communes were changed into Qiantong and Zhulin townships. In January 1987, Qiantong township was changed into Qiantong Town, which is still a branch road district. In May 1992, Ninghai County implemented the policy of "removing districts, expanding towns and merging townships". Zhulin township was merged into Qiantong Town, and Chalu district was abolished. Qiantong town was directly under the county.

Qiantong town is located in the southwest of Ninghai County, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. Qiantong Village (Natural Village) is located in the middle of the town, 10.3km southwest of Ninghai County. It is adjacent to Yuelong street in the East, Jiaoyi town in the southeast, Shaliu street in Sanmen County, Taizhou City in the south, Sangzhou town in the southwest and Chalu town in the West. Qiantong town is high on both sides and low in the middle. In the northwest, there are mountains, such as lianghuang mountain and daxiaozhu mountain. Among them, lianghuang mountain is 766 meters above sea level, and has been developed into a tourist attraction; daxiaozhu mountain is 918 meters above sea level, the highest peak in the town. In the southeast, there are low hills, including Gaobei mountain, tiandengzhan mountain and Yantou mountain, most of which are below 500 meters above sea level. The central part is flat. There are two main streams in the territory, Baixi and lianghuangxi. From west to East, Baixi flows into Chalu Town, passes through the middle of the town and leaves Yuelong street in the East. The coastal terrain is relatively flat, and most villages are concentrated here. Lianghuangxi originates from the southeast foot of lianghuangshan mountain, flows through the town, detours to Miaohong village and joins Baixi.

Economics
Die casting is one of Qiantong's characteristic and advantageous industries. Since 2000, the town has continuously strengthened its service awareness, optimized its investment environment, and tried its best to help enterprises solve problems in capital, land, etc. In 2003, the town's total industrial output value reached 470 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 47%. Among them, more than 40 die-casting and its supporting enterprises account for half of the town's industrial economy, and a number of large enterprises and advantageous products such as "Sapphire" gas meter factory and "Haiyu" public parts have emerged.
