Hulu Township, belonging to Guangzong County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the east of Guangzong County, bordering Weixian County in the East, beitangtuan town in the south, Guangzong town in the West and DAPAI Township in the northwest. It is 7.5km away from Guangzong County People's government, with a total area of 41.99km2.
Hulu township was established in February 1956, and changed from Hulu commune to Hulu Township on June 2, 1984. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Hulu township was 27610. As of June 2020, Hulu township has jurisdiction over 23 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in zhaohulu village.
In 2018, Hulu Township had 8 industrial enterprises and 46 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In February 1956, Hulu township was established.
On December 8, 1958, Guangzong County was merged into Julu County and became Hulu commune of Guangzong administrative region.
On May 20, 1961, Guangzong County was restored as Hulu commune.
On June 2, 1984, Hulu commune was changed into Hulu township.
