Xiaban town
The lower plate Town, belonging to Chengde County, Chengde City, Hebei Province, is registered residence of the Chengde County People's government, located in the southern part of Chengde County, adjacent to the east mountain town and the eight hometown. Southeast is adjacent to Xing County, southwest is connected with the big Ying Zi Township, the West and northwest connect with the upper plate towns of Shuangqiao District, and the north is bordered by Meng Jiayuan Township, with a total area of 253.64 square kilometers. In 1987, DAPAI and wulongji Township were merged into the city. At the end of 1988, six villages in liushudi Township, changyugou, huzhangzi, Shihu, beiwanzi, Dazhangzi and qiniujiao, were merged. As of June 2020, Xiaban town has 8 communities and 26 administrative villages.

Historical evolution
In March 1949, it was the resident of Chengde County People's government and the third district.
In 1955, the junior society was established; in June of the same year, the district was withdrawn and Xiaban urban and rural area was built.
In April 1956, the township was withdrawn and Xiaban town was built.
In 1958, Chengde City and county merged, the town was removed, and Bancheng commune was set up, which belongs to Chengde city.
In April 1960, he was the office resident of Chengde suburban Committee.
In 1961, the city and county were separated and restored to the residence of the people's Government of Chengde County. In the same year, it was divided into six communes: Xiabancheng, DAPAI, wulongji, qiniujiao, Wuchang and dayingzi.
In 1981, Xiabancheng commune was abolished and Xiabancheng town was rebuilt.
In 1987, DAPAI and wulongji Township were merged into the city.
At the end of 1988, six villages in liushudi Township, changyugou, huzhangzi, Shihu, beiwanzi, Dazhangzi and qiniujiao, were merged.
