Built in 1736-1795 during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, the house was built by Yang Baohui, the second son of Yang Hongmo and Yang Baoquan, the third son of Yang Hongmo, the seventh ancestor of Yang family. The block faces south in the north, with a rectangular plane, 94.76 meters in width, 52.8 meters in depth, and a construction area of 5003.3 square meters. It is a four entrance hall house, which is composed of Hechang, panchi, Qianwei, Santang, erheng and a turret. It has nine halls and eighteen wells, with a total of more than 150 rooms. The two entrances are the central hall, separated by wooden screen doors. On the top of the board is a seal tablet of "Fu Lu Shou", and on both sides is a couplet of "the poems and books you love seek the virtue of the world; the filial friends show your family". On the back is a plaque of "guangqianyuhou", and on both sides is a couplet: "the origin of Zude has been flourishing for thousands of years; zongzhiyi and yewandaixing". The third entrance is the upper hall, with a shrine dedicated to ancestors. Above the shrine, there is a plaque with the name of "four knowledge hall". On both sides, there is a couplet dedicated to the Yang family: "Jinglun is the best to push three phases; the innocent family guards the four knowledge.". The horizontal doors on both sides of the enclosure have different patterns. On the right side of the cross room, the door is wider.
