Historical evolution
In the last years of the Western Jin Dynasty, extravagance prevailed, which eventually led to the chaos of the five kingdoms, the extinction of the Western Jin Dynasty, and the spread of civilization in the Central Plains to the south. According to Yu Yu's biography in the book of Jin: "since the Qing Dynasty, the long officials came to see off the old and welcome the new, and crossed the road. Those who were welcomed were afraid that there were not many ships and horses, while those who were sent were afraid that there were few officials and soldiers. The poor and extravagant are called loyalty and righteousness, and the simple is called vulgar. Although there are regular preventive measures, they are not willing to abide by them. In addition, the way of the king has not been conquered, and the place is stagnant
Sowing and planting
. If one man does not plough, ten men have no food, and if the situation turns to a hundred, it will not cost much! "
In order to bear in mind the lesson of "never lose planting", Han people from the Central Plains who moved to the South opened a construction village in the wild mountains of Kangzhou, Lingnan, and named it "planting". In those days, planting was located in the mountainous area, and the transportation was inconvenient. People were mainly on foot to travel and take advantage of the polder. If they met the severe weather of hot summer or the sudden arrival of wind and rain, they would be very hard to travel or take advantage of the polder. Some good people in the countryside took the lead in donating tea booths to provide a place for travelers to escape the wind and rain, have a rest in the cool and drink tea to quench their thirst. As a result, a pavilion was built every ten or eight miles in the countryside of Kangzhou, including Bozhi. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, due to the gradual development of transportation, many pavilions or tea pavilions along the ancient roads gradually lost their functions, some were demolished, some collapsed because of no management, but the remains of the ancient tea pavilions can still be found in planting.
At that time, under the invasion of different nationalities, the whole family of Han people in the Central Plains moved to the south. After passing Nanyang in Henan Province, he entered Xiangfan, along the Han River into the Yangtze River and moved to Hubei, Anhui and Jiangsu; then he went from Jiujiang to Poyang Lake, or along Ganjiang River into Gannan mountain area and went through hardships to Lingnan. The only reason why Hakka ancestors chose to plant in Lingnan was that it was surrounded by mountains and sparsely populated, so it was much safer than Luoyang, the capital.
Later, Kangzhou became the Fengyi County of Zhao Gou, Emperor Gaozong of the Southern Song Dynasty. After Emperor Gaozong of the Song Dynasty ascended the throne, Kangzhou was renamed and upgraded to Deqing Prefecture, and the Bozhi area began to prosper. In 1858, the villagers of Bozhi began to build polder towns around the village, hence the name of Bozhi port. In 1913, bozhibu was renamed bozhiwei. Because of its name, Bozhi commune was established in 1958, changed to district in 1983, and established as bozhiwei town in 1987, commonly known as Bozhi town.
