Binheng town

Binheng town is located in the south of Guangning County, 24 kilometers away from the county seat, east of Huanglian mountain, middle reaches of Suijiang River, across the river from Paisha town in the East, Wuhe town and Hengshan Town in the west, Sihui City in the southeast, Gaoyao District in the southwest, and Nanjie town in the north. The longitude and latitude are 112 degrees and 25 minutes east longitude and 23 degrees and 28 minutes north latitude.

Historical evolution

In the 13th year of Yuanjia (436) of the Southern Song Dynasty, Guanxi township (now Suijiang River Basin of Binheng town) under the jurisdiction of Sihui county at that time was established as Xinzhao County, and the county government was set up in Miao village management area of this town. During the reign of Emperor Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty, it was in the position of Xinzhao and Yongtai. In 1937, it belonged to Xuheng and xutai townships. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of five districts and Binheng district. In 1958, Binheng commune was established together with Wuhe. In 1961, it was divided into Wuhe and Bingheng commune. changed to Binheng District in 1983. In 1987, Binheng town was changed again.
