Junan Town is located in the hinterland of the Pearl River Delta, which is the open door of the southwest area of Shunde. It is the golden intersection of Shunde, Zhongshan and Jiangmen. The total area of the town is 79.45 square kilometers, and 8 community committees and 5 village committees are under the jurisdiction. The registered residence population is 90 thousand and 500, the number of migrant workers is 73 thousand and 100, the villagers living in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese are more than 40 thousand. Junan faces the river on three sides, with more than 50 kilometers of riparian line, which is the main channel of Xijiang River system. History and culture

Pearl River, one of the four major water systems in China, has been flowing continuously for thousands of years, giving birth to the unique Lingnan culture. Xijiang River, the main stream of the Pearl River, originates from Yunnan Guizhou Plateau, flows through Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi and Guangdong, and flows into the ocean. It has been rated as "the hometown of Chinese Quyi", and every village has a "quyi club", with a "wanjiadengwanjiaxian" quyi atmosphere. Every year, the final venue of Guangdong "tomorrow's star" quyi competition is located in Junan Town, Shunde District.

Self combed girl:

Self combing women, also known as aunts or aunts, refers to women's self curling hair like married women, in order to show that they will never marry and live alone. After death, they are called pure women, which is a kind of ancient Chinese female culture. In ancient China, feudal etiquette was strict, and many girls were unwilling to be abused. They were determined not to marry, or supported each other with their female partners to end their life. This is the rudiment of self grooming girls. In the middle and late Ming Dynasty, the rise of silk industry provided women with an opportunity to make a living independently. Under the oppression of feudal etiquette, the custom of self combing lasted for more than 300 years. It reached a climax from the late Qing Dynasty to the early Republic of China. After the 1930s, it gradually disappeared with the improvement of women's social status and the impact of war. On December 25, 2012, Shunde Junan bingyutang "self combing women" museum was established.

Taiping Village

Taiping village is located in the west of the center of Jun'an town. It was formed by merging Nanmian village and Lingxi village on September 26, 2001. It is 5km away from the center of Jun'an Town, with a total area of about 5 square kilometers. There are more than 1100 households in Taiping Village, with more than 4000 permanent residents and more than 6000 floating population (migrant workers). Taiping village has seven villager groups and two joint-stock cooperatives. The Party branch of Taiping village has 110 party members and two party groups. As the two committees of the village insist on building the village by industry, the total output value of industry and agriculture in the early stage of village merging will increase from 300 million yuan to 450 million yuan in 2005.

Nansha community

Nansha community is located in the east of Jun'an Town, surrounded by the sea on all sides and separated by Donghai waterway on the north. The east line is opposite to maning, Beisha and hailing in Xingtan town. Xinhua and TIANLIAN on the west line of Donghai waterway in the south, Xiaolan Town and Dongfeng Town in Zhongshan City in the East. There are no hills and highlands in the territory. Shizi Dayong divides the whole territory into four natural villages, namely, Ancheng, Lingyan, Yonglong and Sibu.

The whole community covers an area of 15.19 square kilometers, with more than 4400 households, more than 16000 permanent residents and 2200 floating population. The neighborhood committee of the community has four joint-stock societies, with a total of 16 resident groups. The total area of cultivated land is 10420 mu, including 6600 mu of fish ponds and 3820 mu of cultivated land.

The total industrial and agricultural output value of the whole community in 2004 was 580 million yuan, 17.4% higher than that in 2003, of which 390 million yuan was industrial output value and 190 million yuan was agricultural output value.

In order to meet the needs of urbanization, Nansha community, under the leadership of the superior government, relies on community residents, uses community resources, strengthens community functions, solves community problems, and promotes the coordinated development of community politics, economy, culture and environment. Shatou community

As early as the Song Dynasty, the people of Huang family moved to Shatou to reclaim the land. There were also people with surnames such as Qu and Mai living there. Because there was a small stream near Shatou, the water was clear and the yellow sand was crystal clear. Later, the population gradually increased and the scope of the village expanded. The villagers thought that the word "stream" was narrow, so they changed the name to Shatou.

Shatou community is the center of Jun'an Town, 2 kilometers south of Jun'an Town, 18 kilometers away from Daliang street, Shunde District Government of Foshan City, Cangmen in the East, Sanhua in the north, Jitou in the west, Hetang in Xinhui District of Jiangmen City in the south, covering an area of 3.89 square kilometers. It has more than 1100 households, 4400 permanent residents and 2100 floating population. The Party branch of Shatou community has 127 members and three party groups. Under the neighborhood committee, there are East and West residents groups and a stock society. The eight natural villages in the East and west of the area are Dongbi, Qingyun, Wuxian, Liangcun, Dongsheng, Shalu, Xinlian and eyang.

Shapu Village

Shapu village is located in the northwest of Jun'an Town, about 4 kilometers away from the center of Jun'an Town, covering an area of 2.88 square kilometers. There are more than 800 permanent residents in the village, with a population of more than 3300 and a floating population of more than 5000. The total area of cultivated land is more than 2650 mu, including 1200 mu of cultivated land and 1450 mu of fish pond.

Under the jurisdiction of the village committee, there are five natural squares, namely, Julong, Xinji, Xiting, Zhengjie and Shangjie. The general Party branch of Shapu is set up, with a total of 5 branch and village committees, 80 party members, 5 villager group leaders and 41 villager representatives.

In 2004, the total industrial output value of the village was 470 million yuan, the agricultural output value was 115 million yuan, the net income of village level collective economy was 4.3 million yuan, and the per capita income of villagers was about 6066 yuan.
