Zhaoshang street, belonging to Nanshan District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, is located in the southwest of Nanshan District, starting from Houwan in the East, adjacent to Yuehai street in the west, Chiwan Port in the south, to the west of Gongye 7th Road, Huaguo Road, zhaoshang Road, Shuiwan road to shangle street, zhuankangle road to Haichang road to the seaside, and adjacent to Shekou street Ridge line, Xinghai road to youpaotai to the seaside, bordering Yuehai street and Nanshan street, covering an area of 18.36 square kilometers.
As of 2017, the number of permanent residents in the merchants street was 163 thousand and 200, of which 98 thousand and 200 were registered residence. It governs 11 communities. As of June 2020, 11 communities are under the jurisdiction of merchants street.
In 2003, the total industrial output value of zhaoshang street was 24.3 billion yuan.
Historical evolution
In the Qing Dynasty, the area of business invitation was the jurisdiction of Dian Shi Guan in Xin'an County, belonging to Wanxia Village (Shuiwantou part) and Nanshan Village (Chiwan part).
During the period of the Republic of China, the region initially belonged to Nanshan Township, the first district of Bao'an County, followed by Wanxia Township, the Second District, and then Nantou Town, the first district. Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Nanping Township, the first district.
When the people's Republic of China was founded in October 1949, the area of investment promotion was Liancheng Shiyue Nanping Renmin United Township. In 1951, the big township was removed to set up a small township. The area of investment promotion was Wanxia village, Xinmin Township, and Chiwan village, Xinnan township. In 1952, 21 households from the east corner of neiling island and bujiuzi village moved to live in shuineiwantou village. In October 1956, it belongs to Nanshan Township, Nantou district. In March 1958, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. In September 1958, the people's commune was established with the integration of government and society, and the region was under the management of Nantou District of Chaoying commune. In 1959, it belonged to Shuiwan production team of Wanxia brigade of Nantou commune and Chiwan production team of Nanshan brigade. During the "Cultural Revolution", 34 people from 9 households in neiling Island moved to Shuiwantou. In 1970, Wanxia production team of Nantou commune was under the jurisdiction of Shekou commune. Wanxia production team was divided into two groups, namely, Wanxia production team and Nanshan production team.
In January 1979, Shekou commune set aside 2.14 square kilometers to establish Shekou Industrial Zone of China Merchants Group, which belongs to Shekou Industrial Zone of China Merchants Group and Chiwan production team of Nanshan brigade of Nantou commune. In 1982, China Nanshan Development Co., Ltd. was established, and its investment areas are Shekou Industrial Zone of China Merchants Group, China Nanshan Development Co., Ltd. and Chiwan production team of Nanshan production team of Nantou Gongdu in Luohu District.
On October 17, 1983, Shuiwan office was set up in the area of investment promotion, which is subordinate to Nantou District of Shenzhen city. However, due to various reasons, it was not set up. The area belongs to Shekou Industrial Zone of China Merchants Group, China Nanshan Development Company and Chiwan neighborhood committee of Nanshan Office of Nantou district. In July 1984, the scope of Shekou industrial zone was expanded to the south of the connection between zhenglongwei and deep bay.

Economics
The investment attraction area is located on the seashore, with cultivated land and oyster fields. When the people's Republic of China was founded, it mainly cultivated rice and other food crops, and also fished and planted fruit trees. In 1970, there were two production teams in Shuiwantou, Nanshan brigade and Chiwan, Nanshan brigade of Shekou commune, with cultivated land of 68 hectares, including 29 hectares of paddy fields, 39 hectares of Zaotian, 3.3 hectares of fish ponds, 11 hectares of oyster fields, 1000 lychees, 1100 other fruit trees and one fishing boat. The annual catch was 30 tons. In 1978, there were 69 hectares of cultivated land, including 33 hectares of paddy fields, 36 hectares of dry land, 2 hectares of fish ponds, 10 hectares of oyster fields, 2500 fruit trees such as litchi, pear and peach, and the income from fishing and breeding was 20000 yuan. In January 1979, Shekou Industrial Zone of Hong Kong merchants group was set up in the region of investment promotion, which quickly became a hot spot for investment and business development. In that year, Shekou Industrial Zone expropriated 44.6 hectares of land for Shuiwantou production team, as well as some fruit trees.
In September 1981, the remaining 11.7 hectares of land and all trees of Shuiwantou production team were requisitioned for the second time. Subsequently, 99 young farmers and fishermen were recruited as workers in the industrial zone. In 1982, Nanshan Development Company developed Chiwan, and the land of Chiwan production team was expropriated. Shuiwantou and Chiwan began to set up factories and develop the collective economy by using the compensation funds for land acquisition. Chiwan village set up electronic factory, chemical factory and FRP factory: Shuiwan enterprise company was set up in Shuiwantou village, which decided to take industry, commerce, property development management and investment industry as key development industries, and set up electronic factory, hardware and electrical shopping mall, automobile freight company, restaurant, hair salon, etc., with 60 shops and an area of more than 4000 square meters.
In 1990, the net income of Shuiwan enterprise was 700000 yuan. In 1991, eight enterprises including Shekou were set up in the street, including two self-owned enterprises, two in-house enterprises and four joint ventures, with a total investment of 9.4985 million yuan. In 1992, with the implementation of rural urbanization reform, Chiwan and Shuiwan village enterprise companies were restructured into Chiwan and Shuiwan Yuanhua Industrial Co., Ltd. Among them, Shuiwan Yuanhua company has a registered capital of 11.516 million yuan and 773000 shares; Chiwan company has a registered capital of 12.13 million yuan and 5909000 shares. In the same year, 18 enterprises were introduced and set up in the streets, including 5 self run enterprises, 5 in-line enterprises and 8 joint ventures. The rural urbanization joint stock company has set up one company and 23 convenient service points, with an investment of 5 million yuan and an agreed investment of 30 million yuan. In 1993, 12 enterprises were established, including Tianlong leather products company, Shekou Chenggong Industrial Company, Shekou green oasis garden company, Tiantian commercial enterprise chain company and Shekou Tiantong Industrial Company. Among them, there were 10 self-owned enterprises, 1 internal joint venture and 1 joint venture, with a registered capital of 60.26 million RMB, 9.5 million Hong Kong dollars and 740000 US dollars. The total output value of street enterprises was 119.25 million yuan, and the profit was 3.97 million yuan. In 1996, after years of development, Chiwan company had 3 enterprises, 2 stores, 11000 square meters of factory buildings, more than 2500 square meters of workers' dormitories and 2000 square meters of storage. It built 1530 square meters of Xianghuo Street on the east side of Tianhou palace in Chiwan, 18 shops and 60 square meters of exhibition hall. The total annual economic income was 4.5 million yuan. Shuiwan Yuanhua company has built Shuiwan mansion and single apartment with a construction area of 10000 square meters and a parking lot of nearly 2000 square meters, with a total economic income of 5.1 million yuan.
In 2000, the land dispute between Shuiwan Yuanhua company and Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) for many years was solved, and the income was increased by 380000 Yuan. Two new comprehensive buildings were built. Chiwan company strived for 500000 yuan from the district finance to carry out the transformation of substation and Chiwan market. In 2001, the total industrial output value of zhaoshang street was 220 million yuan and the total profit was 44 million yuan. In 2003, the total industrial output value of zhaoshang street was 24.3 billion yuan (territorial statistics, including Shekou Industrial Zone and Nanshan Development Company). Shuiwan and Chiwan companies won 1.35 million yuan for the "same prosperity project". By the end of the year, Chiwan company had 29300 square meters of factories, dormitories and shops, with total assets of 21.6 million yuan; Shuiwan company had total assets of more than 60 million yuan.
In 2003, the per capita annual income of Chiwan company was more than 10000 yuan, of which the per capita dividend income of shareholders was 2500 yuan; the per capita dividend income of Shuiwan company was 6000 yuan, of which the per capita dividend income of shareholders was 1400 yuan.
