Xiwanbao Township, belonging to Huai'an County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Huai'an County, adjacent to Xisha urban and rural areas in the East, Huaian town and Wanghutun Township in the south, fujiawan town in Tianzhen County, Shanxi Province in the west, Chaigoubao town in the north, 11.6 kilometers away from the people's Government of Huai'an County, with a total area of 116.22 square kilometers.
In 1949, Xiwanbao Township belonged to four districts of Huai'an County; in 1984, Huashan commune was changed into Xiwanbao township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the West Bay Village was 8408. As of June 2020, Xiwanbao township has 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is located in Xiwanbao village.
In xiwanpu Township, corn is the main food crop; pig, sheep and poultry are the main animal husbandry; mineral processing is the main industry.
History of construction
In 1949, Xiwanbao Township belonged to four districts of Huai'an county.
In 1956, Huashan township was established.
In 1958, Huashan township was changed into Huashan commune.
In 1984, Huashan commune was changed into Xiwanbao township.
