The town people's government's residence in tianjiadong (the former residence of Wanlong Town People's Government) is 23 kilometers away from Baojing city and 40.5 kilometers away from Guyang town.

On January 15, 2016, after the adjustment of Guzhang County's zoning, duanlongshan town was officially put into operation. The village (neighborhood) committee, the person in charge of the organs directly under the town, and all the town cadres attended the listing ceremony.
