Chenjiawa Township
Chenjiawa Township, belonging to Yu County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Yu County. It faces Huangmei Township across Huliu River in the East, xihehe town in the southeast, nanlingzhuang Township and yangzhuangke Township in the south, Yangyuan County in the west, and beishuiquan town in the north. It is 25.8 kilometers away from Yuxian people's government, with a total area of 96.91 square kilometers.
In the early Republic of China, chenjiawa township was divided into five districts of Yuxian County; in May 1984, chenjiawa commune was changed into chenjiawa township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Chen Jia Wa township was 8480. As of June 2020, chenjiawa township has jurisdiction over 19 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in chenjiawa village.

History of construction
At the beginning of the Republic of China, chenjiawa township was divided into five districts of Yuxian County. In 1944, it belonged to Yuyang United county. In 1945, it was divided into five districts and ten districts.
In 1953, it belonged to baimashen, yingzibao, renjiabao and dayuejiashan.
In 1956, it belonged to chenjiawa and dayuejiashan respectively.
In 1958, it belonged to yangzhuangke and beishuiquan commune.
In 1962, Chen Jiawa commune was founded by Yang zhuangke and beishuiquan commune.
In 1966, dayuejiashan commune was merged into chenjiawa commune.
In May 1984, it was changed from chenjiawa commune to chenjiawa township.

In 1997, chenjiawa Township had 21 administrative villages: chenjiawa, beishanxiling, baizhuangzi, xujiaying, xiayuanzao, zuopo, nanshangtou, yingzibao, baimashen, qujiazhuang, dongxiaoguan, beishuitou, dayuejiashan, xiashuitou, lijialou, tianjiapo, shangyuanzao, wangjiazui, shuangjingshan, nanshanxiling and renjiapu.
By the end of 2011, chenjiawa had jurisdiction over 19 villages, namely, nanshuitou, renjiapu, yingzibao, xujiaying, dayuejiashan, shuangjingshan, dongxiaoguan, wangjiazui, lijialou, xiayuanzao, qujiazhuang, baizhuangzi, beishuitou, zuopo, chenjiawa, shangyuanzao, beishanxiling, baimashen and tianjiapo.
